What happened to customer service? I placed an order through their app for delivery because I am busy at work. I get a call and voicemail stating my order will take longer because they have a big priority order. I understand how that is but I call back and explain I will wait for my order because I need to eat and need it delivered. After being told my order would be an hour and a half wait, I ask if there would be a compensation for my waiting that long. The lady puts me on hold to ask her manager.
Then the manager comes onto the line and continues to explain how she's getting another driver in and my order will now be delivered in 45 minutes, and continues explaining that they don't compensate due to extensive delivery times. I tried explaining to her that when I asked for some compensation for patiently waiting for 1.5 hours that wasn't a big ask, but she goes to cut me off. Now I've lost my patience. Read moreI ordered online. After waiting an hour, my order was still at "prep". I called and eventually got to a live person. Understaffed. So I said I'd drive over when I was told about 30 minutes. They had to re-enter my order for that. Then I had to wait another 40 minutes. The guy doing most of the inside work then comped the order, which was a good thing because when they re-entered the order I didn't get the 2 for $5.99 each deal I originally ordered. When delivery is turned off I will still order takeout from this store sometimes just to see 4 employees inside on their phones not doing squat. I realize that there is 100 excuses that people will make to justify this lack of quality service but honestly this store has got to be losing so much money on a daily basis.
