WELL GAVE IT ANOTHER TRY A YEAR LATER. MY REVIEW SHOWS HERE WHEN I AM SIGNED IN BUT NEVER WHEN I SIGN OUT... GUESS THEY ARE EMBARRASSED. NONETHELESS THEY WILL SEE IT. HERE IT IS A YEAR LATER & STILL HORRIFIC TREATMENT BY STAFF. THE ONE GAL APPEARED OH SO VERY SWEET. BUT WHEN I OPENED THE TAKEOUT SHE BOXED UP WHEN I GOT HOME, SHE LITERALLY & DELIBERATELY THREW THE COLE SLAW ALL OVER MY LEFTOVER FISH & FRENCH FRIES. THEN THE NEXT TRIP THE WAITRESS WAS TOLD THAT I WAS NOT DONE EATING & NOT TO BRING OVER MY COFFEE UNTIL I WAS FINISHED AND SHE DELIBERATELY WENT BACK & POURED MY COFFEE & BROUGHT IT OVER WHILE LAUGHING. ANOTHER WAITRESS CRAMMED MY DINNER SIZE SALAD INTO A SMALL BOWL WHILE MY DATE GOT HIS EXACT SAME SALAD NICELY PRESENTED ON A LARGE PLATE. AGAIN SHE SMILED WHEN ATTEMPTING TO GIVE IT TO ME AT WHICH TIME I REFUSED IT ASKING IT BE SERVED THE SAME WAY AS GIVEN TO MY DATE. GIRL #1 THE ONE WHO BOXED UP MY TAKEOUT LOOKING LIKE GARBAGE IS NO LONGER THERE. HOPEFULLY SHE WAS FIRED. NOPE! FAR WORSE THIS TIME THAN LAST YEAR. BUT IT APPEARS THAT THEY ARE JUST DOING THIS TO ME. ABSOLUTELY NO CLASS EITHER WAY! GO ELSEWHERE!!!

I HAD INITIALLY GIVEN THIS PLACE 5 STARS.

WHILE I AM NOT ONE TO BE CRITICAL BASED ON A ‘FEW’ BAD EXPERIENCES, I AM CHANGING MY RATING DUE TO ‘MORE’ THAN A FEW.

(THE PROVERBIAL ‘PUSHING THE ENVELOPE’ THING).

THE FOLLOWING EXPERIENCES HAVE HAPPENED IN ISOLATION ON AN INTERMITTENT BASIS. (THE JUST CAN’T SEEM TO GET IT ALL RIGHT AT THE SAME TIME ‘JACK IN THE BOX’ SYNDROME).

•. FINE WINE IS BEST WHEN ‘AGED’ UNDER OPTIMUM CONDITIONS. SERVING STALE WINE THAT HAS OBVIOUSLY BEEN SITTING AROUND FOR HEAVEN KNOWS HOW LONG DOES NOT QUALIFY AS ‘FINE’ ANYTHING.

•. SALAD DRESSING IS WARM FROM BEING LEFT ON TABLES FROM LUNCH TILL DINNER.

•. SPEAKING OF TABLES: ‘CONSISTENTLY’ CLEANING GLASS TABLETOPS AFTER EACH DINER LEAVES IS HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR AESTHETICS & SANITARY PURPOSES.

•. CONDIMENTS SOMETIMES TASTE RANCID.

•. FAST FOOD FRENCH FRIES ARE JUST THAT: FAST & CHEAP. FINE DINING ESTABLISHMENTS SHOULD SERVE FRENCH FRIES THAT ARE COMMENSURATE WITH THEIR PRICES.

•. A CUSTOMER SHOULD BE ABLE TO FIND THE CONTENTS OF A SANDWICH WITHOUT A MAGNIFYING GLASS.

•. SERVICE IS ‘POTLUCK’ PENDING WHO IS ASSIGNED TO YOUR TABLE.

•. AT LEAST THE ‘INFAMOUS’ ITALIAN CREAM CAKE MADE OF ‘BRICK & MORTAR’ IS HISTORY. THANK YOU FOR THAT!

I APPRECIATE THIS OPPORTUNITY TO LEAVE THIS OPEN & HONEST CONSTRUCTIVE REVIEW.

REVIEWS ARE USEFUL TOOLS THAT ACCURATELY REFLECT EACH CUSTOMER’S EXPERIENCE BASED ON FACTS...NOT ‘RUMORS OR HEARSAY’.

I LOOK FORWARD TO YOUR IMPROVEMENT IN THE AREAS ADDRESSED, THUS ‘EARNING BACK’ THE FINE REPUTATION YOU...

What a delicious find... a true gem in the northern Pennsylvania region. My wife and I were enjoying a little getaway and I found Kabobs online while looking for a dinner spot. We both enjoy Middle Eastern and Mediterranean cuisine, so decided to check it out. PERFECT! From the moment you walk into this historic building, you are transported back to an era of fine dining and elegant service. Upon being seated by the hostess, we met our waiter, Jonathan. He was completely attentive, very courteous and quite knowledgeable about the menu and lots of background on the restaurant, building and world-class Chef Itzy. We enjoyed a delicious Hummus appetizer with warm pita wedges, before being presented with our main course choices: my wife had the special, braised lamb shank in a hearty curry. I had the gyro platter, and both were incredible. Throughout the meal, Jonathan made sure everything was taken care of. He made sure the meal was as much a success as the food was delicious. We ended our sojourn at Kabobs with a sumptuous lemon cake. Ultimately, Kabobs exceeded our every expectation and my only regret is that they are so far away so we can't enjoy them more regularly. If you ever find yourself in Bradford, PA, stop in and experience what fine dining can and should be. ...

Tried this restaurant on a semi-busy Friday night. Although we had no reservations we were politely accomodated with a table. Greeter and service was quick and waitress efficient and knowledgeable. There was a good assortment of selections. I got the chicken fingers, fish fry, and beef tenderloin kabob. The rating of 3 stars should reflect the actual quality as 3&1/2 stars but that option was unavailable. Better food quality for what I chose can be ordered elsewhere delivered. There was no blue cheese for the fingers, the kabob beef was tough, and the coleslaw swimming in a sauce that wasn't quite OK. The fish portion was huge but it's beer batter was undercooked and reheating leftovers caused the fish to lose almost all flavor. Accompanying fries, however, were delicious! Soft drink ordered was harsh and also tasted "off. My companion agreed. This restaurant got its star boost for its atmosphere, and the food was not actually horrible. I would go back and keep trying the other dish selections to find one I could call...

Knocking back from five to three stars after another visit. Went between 8 and 9pm on a Saturday night (they close at 9) so the staff was 100% focused on shutting down and 0% focused on providing service. Our waitress had an awesome talent for avoiding eye contact. Never received the 2nd beer I ordered. $30 strip steak (rare) was a well done sirloin at best. Couldn't be more disappointed, which is shocking given how good it was last time. One more chance, folks. Another experience like this and I'm out for good. Took my family of four. No one was disappointed, which is rare. In fact, we all loved it. Two Indian dishes, one Italian and I had the tenderloin medallions. Four 'double' drinks and the rest was $170 with tip. Pricey, but zero buyer's remorse here. Highly recommend.

Excellent food, a delightful waitress, and reasonable prices. The atmosphere allowed you to step back in time to a long, forgotten style of opulent living. From the glittering chandeliers to the mosaic tile floors, it was truly an unexpected gem! We were passing through Bradford on our way back home and decided to spend the night. What a delight to find this restaurant! The chef makes rice just like my Bengali neighbor used to. It was wonderful to taste that dish again! The gyro meat was reminiscent of a Greek deli in NYC. The tzaki sauce was perfect. It was thick and creamy, not watery and anemic. Now, to find an excuse to visit Bradford again to dine at this beautiful establishment!
