We visited Dave & Buster's Braintree location today 3/16/25 to enjoy some arcades and food for my nephews 18th birthday. After we had finished with the arcades, we sat down. It was probably around 4:30. The restaurant was relatively empty maybe three other table sat. Our waitress showed up relatively quickly after we had all sat down and informed us that she would be right back however about 10 to 15 minutes, went by and she never returned. I had to go up to the hostess station to let them know that our waitress has yet to come to our table And if they could please go and track her down. She had actually been standing there at the hostess station complaining about something and had to walked away when she had seen me. I'm assuming because she recognized me as a customer from Her table.
About five more minutes goes by give or take and a different waitress comes up and tells us that she will now be our waitress odd but whatever. Since we had already been sitting there for 20 minutes, we gave her our drink orders and our food orders there were 12 of us six of them being children.
After taking our order, she leaves we don't have utensils or plates. Our drinks did not arrive to our table until about two minutes before our food and then about one minute later, she came with the utensils and side plates. She was nice, however could've been more attentive. During our meal, several times, they came over with things that we had asked for that they had Already brought to our table. They also came over several times with food that did not belong to our table, which I thought was very odd. How do you not know which table the food is supposed to be going to?
After that, my sister had the youngest children, a five-year-old and two-year-old who are getting very antsy and impatient, and it took them forever to bring our check and then when they finally brought the check, two of the checks had items that were not ordered on our check, so of course they had to fix that which took several more minutes.
Had the restaurant been busy and there had been many more tables to attend to I would've understood the lack of attention however it was not very busy at all and to me it just seemed like they didn't know what they were doing. Unfortunately, I will probably never return for a meal, but all the children did enjoy the arcade.
Dave & Buster's, you need to train your employees better teach them to be attentive to their tables if they want it to be reflected...

Read moreWe visited Dave & Buster’s on Saturday night, hoping for a nice meal followed by some games. Unfortunately, the experience fell far short of expectations.
The restaurant was about two-thirds full, yet the gaming section was overwhelmingly crowded. Our drink and meal wait times were reasonable, but the service quickly went downhill. When our meals arrived, we immediately informed the server that we needed utensils. The noise level was extreme, so I’m fairly certain she didn’t hear me—but rather than taking a moment to clarify, she simply walked away while I was clearly speaking to her.
When it became obvious she wasn’t coming back, I had to get up and track down the hostess for assistance. The utensils we eventually received were dirty—I even took a photo showing this.
As for the food, my pasta with shrimp and sausage was flavorful and thankfully not overly salty. I genuinely enjoyed it. The spicy Korean chicken was decent, but the fries were already cold when they arrived. Our drinks, however, were excellent!
Then came the final blow to service. Our waiter eventually returned with two small plates and two sets of utensils, which he shoved onto our already crowded table, saying he had forgotten to bring them. But by that point, we were nearly finished eating, and we clearly already had utensils—making this gesture both confusing and unnecessary.
Before leaving, I visited the restroom, and I was stunned. It was absolutely filthy—paper towels, and toilet paper littered the floor. I’ve seen public beach restrooms in better condition. I genuinely hoped I didn’t walk out with tissue stuck to my shoes. Simply sweeping the floor would have made all the difference.
Finally, I walked through the gaming area and decided not to stay. It was uncomfortably loud, overcrowded, and chaotic. Disappointed with both the facility and the service, we ended the...
