Initially I was ecstatic about having my daughter’s 1st birthday there per a recommendation from a close friend. Firstly, I would like to thank our host for helping as much as she could. My main complaint is the overall size of the space, it’s super small and everything is on top of each other and there isn’t enough food for the children and adults. Secondly, everything was super rushed it seem like and several times the man with the glasses was hovering and reminding me to make sure to see him at the front when we finished to the point where a friend of mine had to speak up. Lastly, prior to booking, I was assured if we did not meet the amount of children in our package we would be charged the initial booking which was for 15 children. After going over everything from the party, I realized we did not meet the upgraded package and called about the best way to rectify the issue. I spoke with the manager Heidi and explained my concerns. She said she would go over everything and get back to me at a later time but they don’t offer refunds after a day. She called me twice after we hung up. Once to state that she checked the video and spoke with the host and I had reached the amount of children but she could give me a gift card. The second time she called back and said they could’ve charged me the 15 kids and extra pizza but would not be able to refund me the difference in cash or back to my card but would leave a $50 gift card if we could meet in the middle. The 15 kid package with additional pizza would be about $500 (that’s being generous) with a $100 difference. I feel short changed. All in all, the family enjoyed the little time we had there but I doubt I’d ever go back...
Read moreThis place is robbing your money. They are scam. So disappointed They have the promotion that if you are student, bring your student ID you will get 15 credits free once a day from Jun 1st-Aug 31st. They even posted that on instagram. However, I came in for a week, everyday after work and did exact same thing and only claimed one time, they started to change their policy on July 1st. They MAKE YOU PURCHASE something before claiming your 15 credits free which is ridiculous and unfair. GATCHA in Saugus has the same promotion and they have no problem with it if you come everyday just to get your credits one time. Thanks goodness I came in everyday, I also noticed they changed the price for each machine like crazy. The mofusand in-red panda costume, it was only 7.6 credits when they first put it out, the next day, they went up to 9.2. Then 2 days later 11.2 credits for a small plushie. Other plushies as well for example the hello kitty one in Gatcha machine, from 8.4 to 9.2 credits. The claw doesn’t work that well anyway so please be careful with that guys. It might lucky if you came in the day they decreased the price for that machine. Even the big plushies machine, it was 13.8 and now it’s like 15.8 or 17 credits which is ridiculous. Anyway, this place not bad but they didn’t accept the fact we students can come in everyday to claim credits once with a valid student ID. They want you to pay for that 15 credits instead so DON’T CALL THAT FREE IF YOU ALREADY POSTED THAT ON INSTAGRAM and STILL MAKE US TO PURCHASE TO GET 15 credits. That 15 credits only worth 1-2 tries. So everyone, be consider to come to this place otherwise you will spend a lot for...
Read moreI recently visited Space Zero, the sister store to Gatcha in Saugus, and I must say, it's an impressive establishment with a lot to offer. While Gatcha is fantastic in its own right, Space Zero seems to take the concept to a new level, albeit with a different focus.
Space Zero's claw machine arcade, while enjoyable, doesn't quite match the extensive collection at Gatcha. They do offer a variety of machines with exciting prizes, but as a claw machine enthusiast, I found myself wishing for a broader selection. The VR games, though limited in number, provide a modern and immersive gaming experience which is a nice touch.
The trampoline park is a major highlight, featuring an Obstacle Course, Climbing Wall, Foam Pits, Rope Course, Monkey Bars, and a Battle Beam. These facilities are top-notch and offer endless fun, particularly for families and children.
The kid-focused features, like the well-equipped playground, make Space Zero an ideal destination for families. While these features are fantastic for children, I found myself longing for more emphasis on the claw machine and arcade aspect, which is what initially drew me to their sister store, Gatcha.
In conclusion, Space Zero is a commendable spin-off (or is it Gatcha that's the spin-off?) with its unique offerings. Although I prefer a more claw machine-centric experience like Gatcha, Space Zero excels in providing a diverse range of activities, especially for kids. I'm looking forward to seeing how this company evolves in the future and hope they might consider expanding their claw machine section. For families and those who enjoy a variety of activities, it's definitely...
