South Shore Plaza — Local services in Braintree

After receiving horrible service at Herb Chambers in Braintree a couple of months ago. I received an apology from Scott, the Sales Manager. I decided to give the location another chance to redeem themselves. However, the service once again failed to deliver quality service. Paul from the Service Department quoted me one outrageous high price. Then, proeeded to charge me another equally ridiculous amount after he quoted me a lower price. I found a coupon on the Ford website and presented it to the service department. Instead of applying the coupon. They charged me an additional $100 to the already OVERPRICED service. Upon arrival I had to wait an additional 30 minutes. For the staff to print out my paperwork. That they informed me was ready when I arrived. It became obvious to me, that the staff recalculated everything, while I was waiting for my printout and never applied the coupon. They LIED about EVERYTHING. Then charged me an additional $100 dollars. From the original bill that was presented to me when I first arrived to pick up my vehicle. Once I noticed the change in the price, I informed the staff this wasn't the correct price that Paul quoted me and wanted to speak to Paul. Which, he conveniently left for the day. This is the worst service I EVER received in my life. Completely UNPROFESSIONAL, UNTRUSTWORTHY, INCOMPETENT, lack of follow through, Unknowledgeable, and SIGNIFICANTLY OVERPRICED. I am not satisfied or happy with this service. I will NEVER go here again. No matter how many apologies they give me. I Definitely would NOT EVER RECOMMEND this place to ANYONE!!

Very Unsatisfied...

I go to walk with my toddler. Good place for it on hot/rainy days. You can enter before the mall stores open. Lots of walkers early in the day who are usually friendly, I go around 9-10am and it's busier by the time I leave closer to 11am. Currently stores aren't open until 11am usually. The upper level is carpeted, lower is not. There are a few elevators which sometimes are out of order, usually there is always another option, including in Nordstroms, near Target, next to Lush, a bit further in the middle (see through), at the food court (also see through)... I'm sure there are others. There are a couple of family restrooms and a nursing room (it is small, large enough for stroller and 2 adults). Dunkin in the food court is always busy but the line moves quickly (whenever I order munchkins I get extra!). Great big windows to look out of in the food court. There is a small store with puppies which my toddler loves to visit. Next to the build a bear on the upper level. He isn't the age quite yet where he asks me to buy things... thankfully haha. The Target is attached on the lower level, also has an elevator. Escalators throughout. Parking garage is a bit dangerous rounding corners at the top of the ramps, but shaded/cool and keeps you out of the rain. Very convenient being right off the highway, I feel grateful to have it as an option on rainy/hot days (other large indoor stores to walk in include Ikea and Jordans... wouldn't go to Ikea on a...

Was excited to come here due to the extensive choice of stores, however I wasn't aware of the dangers here. During my visit about six months ago, someone started shooting and everyone ran (this was after the first big shooting incident). Later on the police made an announcement on facebook saying it was a rumored shooting and a fight broke out. Don't know why that would be the case since last time I checked people tend to run toward fights. Also pretty sure a fight wouldn't produce loud popping noises without a gun present. No increased safety measures. While I was hiding in a corner, scared for my life, an employee said this mall is not safe and there's lots of gang activity and the police are constantly called. So I won't ever be going here again, probably ever to a mall again for that matter. I cant tell you how many families were running with their babies in their arms terrified. Wouldn't recommend. Its a shame because it seems like there's a bunch of good stores however many incidents occur, and apparently the media isn't made aware unless someone is killed in the process. The incident a month before was all over the media... but almost the same incident a month later wasn't? Sketchy and horrifying to me. Didn't buy anything, got lots of trauma though 👌🏼keep your kids FAR...
