The fudge was alright. We got two types of fudge. Reese peanut butter, and chocolate peasant milk chocolate. (The names may be off it was a few days ago.) The reeves one doesn't taste like much. The milk chocolate one is fine.
My biggest issue was with the person that helped us, it was an older lady. I asked about Dubai chocolate and she told me I had to be "tuned in to social media" to care, so i asked her how it was and suggested she sell me on it, basically asking for more information. She said she didnt have to sell me on anything everything there was great. Then I asked if it was sold by the entire bar( which is massive) or individual pieces. She got a bit annoyed said the bar, then left me there and went and helped someone else. She was also very condescending toward my mother that had just ordered 2 slices of fudge. Overall unpleasant experience simply because of her, I have never felt more...
Read moreHappened to stop by on their opening day since we were exploring the area. It didn't really seem like they were quite ready to open for business... maybe one more week of preparation and they would have been good to go. None of the employees wore masks while handling the foods and the fudge was positioned behind a very low piece of glass for anyone to contaminate. While sampling the fudge, we overheard a male employee cursing and yelling that he was quitting as he scooped a mess up off the floor. The woman giving us samples was so zoned out and uninterested in helping us that I didn't even bother sampling more than one type of fudge. As for the fudge, it was really tasty but needed to be chilled as it was very mushy. I would have liked if we could have purchased smaller amounts of fudge (I think the smallest we could buy was 1lb) so we could try...
Read moreWe went here last night and tried a couple different kinds of fudge which were nice. I noticed when we walked in the place had a smell like cleaning product or incense, which was no big deal. We bought about $25 worth of candy and fudge (chocolate covered cherries, bacon, peanut butter cups, and fudge). We left and I ate one of the cherries. I immediately tasted the same smell of the shop’s cleaning product or incense and had to spit it out. We picked up the a faint taste of the same on the fudge when we got home. Today we tried the peanut butter cups and the taste of the cleaning product/incense was so strong I still taste it after rinsing my mouth. Things at this shop look so delicious and have so much potential, but we hope they remedy the issue of the strong smell that’s leaching into all of...
