I've been coming here at least once a year since the place opened and never had too bad of an experience. I went for a company outing with a group of 12 people, split between two bays on a Wednesday night from 7-9pm. It wasn't very crowded and there were a bunch of open bays. The server (a middle-aged Spanish lady) didn't seem too personable at first and that was fine. She took our food and drink order within the first 5-10 minutes, and we got our drinks quickly but about an hour later we hadn't received our food though our friends next to us had. We politely asked if there was an update on the food. The waitress got defensive and said, "well your food is fried so it takes longer and there's 500 people here, so it's going to take some time". First of all, only 3 of us even ordered food which was 2 burgers and a salad. Second of all, our friends all got fried foods as well and were almost done eating by the time we asked. She said she'd check on the food and it came a few minutes later. The food was great! With about ten minutes left in our reservation she came around asking how we'd like to pay. Since it was a big group, we were splitting up checks. (The company covered the golf reservations but not the food and drink.) This is when the waitress began to push back stating how hard it would be to split up the checks and wanted each bay to pay with one card each. The waitress showed rude body language while she was standing by the register as we then were trying to decide how we wanted to pay since she didn't want to split the checks up. (You can see how this would be difficult for the customers when a place is geared towards larger parties.) She eventually, reluctantly agreed to splitting the checks. After we all paid, we were standing behind our bays getting ready to leave after handing her our checks. A manager (guy with long blond hair) came over, (I thought he was about to tell us thank you for coming and have a great night) but then he proceeds to say "thank you for coming but we are going to need you to leave now as we have another party coming to use these bays..." This was a blatant lie as there were two open bays next to us all night and many more down the rest of our level. We also weren't sitting at the bay we were standing behind it all getting ready to leave so I felt that this was a rude way of telling us to get out which we were in the process of doing as we were gathering our cards from the bill folders.
I know this was long, it just frustrates you as a customer when you and your entire group try to be as kind, polite, and understanding to service industry workers, and you pay to be somewhere but then you're treated like it's a privilege for you to even be there. I know it was a bigger party but only half of the 12 people ordered food, only 2 people even ordered an alcoholic beverage (I only got water), and we never even received a refill in the two hours we were there. Never once did we complain (my food order had fries and not tots and I didn't bring this up). The only reason we were still there almost 30 minutes after our reservation was because the waitress was reluctant to splitting up our bill which she should've asked about either at the beginning of our reservation or sooner than 10 minutes before our time was up if it was going to be such a big deal. I can also understand the urgency to close out bills and get people out of their bay when it's a weekend and it's really busy because I've been there on days like that but there was literally no one waiting in the lobby and plenty of open bays. I received much better service here on days that there was a line...
Read moreWow what an amazing experience. We arrived at the location and were told there would be an hour and a half wait. We didn’t mind as we literally planned this last minute and we wanted to eat anyway, the time went by really quickly, the food was fairly decent but the cocktails seemed really light on the alcohol, not worth it to me. We we’re moved to our bay, on entry no one asked us had we visited before, no one explained anything really... we started our time and began to enter our names... you have to have a membership that cost $5 per person, so save yourself some time and do it before hand. After registering 6 new people we only had an hour left...I wasn’t happy with the introduction to the place so we asked to speak to a manager, who was kind, apologetic and understanding, he added the 30mins we lost back on as well as other perks.
Toddler information... My boys are 15m old and 2.5m old.... I looked on google and it said Kid friendly...My heart sank when I saw the large opening and we were on the second floor, as they had a private party on lower floor. I highly recommend you bring a stroller with you if your children are curious. My boys just sat in the top golf bar stool chairs holding a golf club and eventually we moved them into the stroller the more antsy they became. There is a net that will catch anyone if need be but no one should be that close to the edge. If your child wont sit in the stroller, or isn’t distracted by food or tablet. I wouldn’t recommend it for more than an hour or at all. Between the edge, the swinging of many golf clubs... its not worth the risk.
Covid information... There are bar stool height tables and chairs, 6 people per table. You are separated from other tables by a large plastic. Tables cleaned in between customers. Masked required.
Extra... Toilets were clean, separate room can be requested for breastfeeding, good selection of modern music. Servers were nice, tables clean.
Overall... This was the most fun game my husband and I have played in a long time, we are both extremely competitive and adventurous. The military discount is a bonus ;). We will be making this a monthly if not bi-weekly family night.
UPDATE We visited a couple days later, we gave the cocktails another try, they’re still a miss...we sat on the 3rd floor this time, which has sofa like seating which was definitely better with the children and rooftop atmosphere. However, in my opinion the second floor had an overall better visual of playing field, if you’re only looking to play. Sketchy (government name Matt) was our table waiter he was just awesome, honestly he is a ball of energy that matched ours, his service was flawless, he drew the boys these creative characters on the coasters. I also witnessed the staff clean the booth including the clubs for the next customers. They also have overhead heaters, the top floor was a tad chilly. The pictures included are from our...

They charged me but a mere five pieces of gold for membership, and I gladly handed over 78 doubloons for gameplay, for the experience was worth more than a chest full of Spanish silver! The waters were provided freely, flowin’ like the bounty of the gods themselves, and when the time came to settle me debt, me Amex took the brunt like a sturdy vessel against the waves. 88.40 well spent, I say!
