I've had some pretty good Indian restaurant experiences in my life, and Kamana is up there with the very best of them! Everything we ordered was fresh and flavourful, from the opening poppadom and pickles, to the mixed vegetarian appetizers (a delicious bargain - the onion bhaji and vegetable pakora were particularly superb), and the old favourites of butter chicken and chicken tikka masala. Our resident vegetarian was especially impressed with the malai kofta, since at many restaurants this veggie dumpling dish is light on dumpling and heavy on sauce, but not so at Kamana! Entrees are all served with rice included, so there's no need to order extra unless you are really trying to stretch the feast out. New edit: they have an incredible lunch special. You get naan, soup, a samosa, entree, pappadam, ... Wow! (Do try the Sunday buffet though also) Edit: Tried their new buffet and it's really great - everything was hot and fresh and their cooking is really on point. I had the meat thali. I used their generous coupon for 20 percent off on Facebook. I ordered spicy and it came spicy and delicious. The lamb kebabs were quite good, as were the chicken. I recently hosted a gender reveal party at Kamana Branford, and it was an absolutely fantastic experience. The Indian cuisine was delicious, with every dish perfectly prepared and full of flavor.
