Sweets on Main — Restaurant in Branford

When Sugar Bakery told me that they stopped making their coconut cake, I was devastated. So, I quickly searched for another coconut cake and found Sweets on Main. When I called them, they were so nice and understanding. They even said, "We can make anything that you'd like." I wasn't sure that I wanted the lemon curd and the coconut cake but they convinced me to give it a try given that it was one of their top sellers. I am so glad that I trusted them. This was my wedding cake and there were a lot of folks that were expecting a knock your socks off experience. This cake delivered. The cake was absolutely fabulous. The cake was completely devoured so I wasn't able to save a few slices to re-visit on our anniversary but I will be sure to return for that cake and also can't wait to try to some of their other goodies. I ordered a cake here for my daughters first birthday party. Sweets on Main did a fabulous job at creating the perfect cake for my baby girls special day! The theme was fairies and I had a specific color scheme but other than that I let them have their creative way with her cake. It came out absolutely beautiful and I couldn't have asked for anything better! It was also very delicious. I received many compliments on the design and taste of the cake at her party! Not only was the cake perfect but working with them to get all the information needed to have her cake ordered was smooth and easy. Very friendly and easy to work with. We had heard of sweets on main recommended by other newly weds and we are so happy we went forward with the them as our something sweet and delicious! We went with a naked 3 tier cake with the raspberry compote, it was light refreshing and perfect way to feel like light with something sweet and spend the rest of the night to the dance floor! Our venue was lawn club in new haven, and the cake delivery was seamless. Scheduling the tasting and being there was an adorable date for us, and once we tried the combo for the delicious cake they helped us with making our vision come true!
