I recently visited The Yard with friends, and we were blown away by both the creativity and taste of the shakes. Whether you're craving something classic like a chocolate or vanilla shake, a simple scoop of delicious ice cream, or if you are feeling adventurous with one of their specialty creations, there's something for everyone here even for those with food allergies.

The Yard is perfectly placed as you exit 65 HWY on to 76 HWY next to the Branson Welcome Center. It's a great place to stop and get a plan for your visit while in Branson while enjoying their delicious treats. So much attention to detail has been given from the murals that are specific to Branson to the super cute Cow couch. There were so many options and toppings to choose from. I had a hard time, deciding what I wanted, but then I looked at their signature milkshake that was so well painted on their mural and decided this was the one for me. we ordered The Showstopper and the Brookie and both were delicious!

I love that they have outdoor seating, no matter what time of year you can enjoy the outdoors. We have been one more time on a date, it's the perfect stop after dinner and putt putt or after one of the many amazing shows in Branson. They are open late to accommodate the late night crowd.

If you're looking for the ultimate milkshake experience in Branson, look no further than The Yard Milkshake Bar! From the moment you step in, you're greeted with a fun and inviting atmosphere.

Not only are the shakes absolutely delicious, but the presentation is also Instagram-worthy, making it a must-stop spot for foodies and social media enthusiasts alike. Plus, the staff is friendly and attentive, ensuring a memorable dining experience.

I have visited other Yard Milkshake bars before and The Yard Milkshake Bar in Branson, exceeded my expectations in every way. They have thought of everything! We did get a grab and go jar to take home for my teen. They have some great choices and it comes with a souvenir mason jar. We were able to get it home to Springfield, and it was still frozen for my daughter. I also bought one of their super cute comfy sweatshirts while we were there. I Love me a souvenir!

It's the perfect place to indulge your sweet tooth and create lasting memories with friends and family. I can't wait to come back and try more of their...

I was so excited to try the yard, their ice cream sounded delicious! And it was! My mom had Pralines & Dreams and I had Peanut Butter Brownie (They were out of brownie bite ice cream so I substituted it with Triple Chocolate). We both chose sundae style vs milkshake. Presentation was top notch!

But...

Here are some things that will keep me from coming back.

We were told the wait to get our ice cream would be about 30 minutes. I don't know why they would be so backed up, it's not like they have to cook the food. While I was ordering, someone came up to ask how much longer, they'd been waiting 45 minutes!!! We ended up being served in 25 minutes. There was a man "cleaning" tables and pushing in chairs. The chairs were ridiculously loud and the sound superceded anything that was being said by the company you were with. Why not pick it up and put it where it belongs rather than making such a racket?

Spoons are too short; when you get to the bottom of your pint jar, your fingers are gross from the rim.

It's expensive. $20 + chg

And this was the clincher. They have a jar rinsing station WITH NO HOT WATER. I understand if it's a safety precaution, but have you ever tried to rinse peanut butter off of a utensil with cold water? At least make it warm for crying out loud! And the basin was clogged with toppings and it stunk. I had to keep from gagging.

I'm sad that I won't be back, I really wanted this to be a great experience and it...

Our experience at The Yard Milkshake Bar in Branson was absolutely incredible! We tried four different items from their menu, including the specialty Salted Caramel Cheesecake and Pralines and Dream milkshakes. Each milkshake was a masterpiece in itself, filled with generous scoops of ice cream blended to perfection. The Salted Caramel Cheesecake milkshake, priced at $18, came in a souvenir mason jar packed with creamy goodness and topped with a slice of cheesecake, chocolate icing, whipped cream, and drizzles of caramel and chocolate. It was so indulgent that they even provided a to-go container for extra cheesecake! The value was exceptional considering the size, quality, and the souvenir jar. Compared to many places charging upwards of $15 for just a slice of cheesecake, this was a steal. For those looking for a more affordable option, the $12 specialty sundae bowls offer the same delightful toppings without blending the ice cream. Despite a busy evening and a line out the door, the staff remained friendly, efficient, and accommodating. They even made our visit extra special by giving our child a cute cow sticker! The ambiance was fun and inviting, with adorable merchandise to browse while waiting. I couldn't resist purchasing a comfort colors sweatshirt that has quickly become my favorite. Overall, The Yard Milkshake Bar has earned our loyalty as our go-to spot in Branson. We can't wait to return and explore more of their...

The milkshakes are super cute, but I could have looked at a picture online and been fine. Ordering is pretty simple, they have digital menus on the wall, QR codes, and laminated menus laying around. The store wasn't horribly busy. We ordered at 6:01 and were number 38, we went and sat down and a family behind us said that they were number 33 and had been waiting "a while". At 6:40, workers came buy with order number 42. I asked where 38 was and she said she wasn't sure, another 5 minutes past and I went inside and asked the clerk if it was normal to wait 45 minutes for 2 shakes and a cup. She looked shocked and said definitely not, but our ice cream was still no where to be found. Around 6:55 our shakes were brought to us, no explanation, just thank you for your patience. (Not sure what they were thanking me for as my patience was long gone) So we got our cute pictures with the shakes and realized that our glasses were filled with nothing but a melty substance that really tasted like plain milk. The toppings were cute, I guess but the rest was gross. Not worth the wait, not worth the $50 that we spent, not worth much of anything. Skip this and spend the $ at Sweet Susies instead! You make it yourself there so it's your own fault if it takes almost an hour!
