Stonewall's BBQ — Restaurant in Braselton

Wow what a treat! The other reviews about the friendly staff are TRUE !! Paris and Clarissa were super fun and welcoming. Let me sample the Brunswick Stew before ordering. We went on a day they featured smoked wings. We also tried the famous cheesy potato bake and the bread pudding. I don’t know what bread pudding is supposed to taste like, but if it’s supposed to be a deconstructed cinnamon roll that’s what this tasted like. You could serve this with praline pecan crumbles and vanilla ice cream at a high end restaurant and it would get ordered all day long as a dessert! The green beans were great as well. Also got a sampling of meats. The turkey is juicy and fresh, the smoked wings dipped in ranch were great. The BBQ was good, but it is not what a lot of places do where they chop or pull meat. This is more of a shredded bbq pork that has sauce cooked into it and it has that reddish color to it. Also if I want to be picky there weren’t a lot of bbq sauces to choose from (I could be wrong but there was only one at the table). Overall my wife and I were very impressed with the meats, the sides, the staff and the cleanliness. Anytime we are in the area we will stop by to see what specials they have !! Saturday 1.18.24. Just has bbq last week. For ne has to be no sauce ( just some that way on wed and sat. Besides who want to cover up the hickory smoke and tenderness with lot of sauce....maybe some for dipping (???) As usual the green beans and coleslaw are spot on rach time which makes it difficult to step outside the box to try two different sides..bc these are spot on each time. We can probably best the other sides are spot ones we'll. Will soon break the chain and try some different ones. Almost did tonight with the bread pudding.. My husband gets the General Lee which has coleslaw on the sandwich but yes you guessed it ...his two sides? Anyway, don't change a thing...its like when you want a steak go to a steak house and enjoy. When u want BBQ go to Stonewalls in Braselton and ENJOY!! Hands down Stonewalls for BBQ and some awesome sides to match. To the owner and staff THANK YOU ALL and continue to do what you do!! Just left from our first visit. Food was very, very good. Our group had the pulled pork sandwich, baby back ribs, baked beans, potato salad, macaroni & cheese, Brunswick stew, toast & bread pudding & sweet potato casserole. They offer yea & soft drinks. I love sweet tea & Mr. Pibb! Food was Served hot, fast and the manager couldn’t have been friendlier. Restaurant was very clean, bathrooms were clean & well stocked. Health score was 100! They also have a customer rewards option that you get 1 point for every dollar spent. At 100 points you get $10 in free food/drink. They have gluten free options. We drove from Canon, Ga (Franklin County) so about 40 minutes. Our friends couldn’t stop bragging about the food. We also love to support small business when we can. We will definitely be back,...
