TOUS les JOURS - Brea — Restaurant in Brea

I've visited plenty of Asian bakeries over the years, but this Tous Les Jours truly stands out above the rest. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere feels warm and welcoming. Literally, the cheerful "WELCOME!" the associates call out never fails to put a smile on my face. :D You can tell the team takes real pride in what they do.

The pastries and breads are consistently fresh, beautifully presented, and absolutely delicious. Oh, and the coffee is absolutely fantastic! There's always something new to try alongside my favorites.

What really makes this Brea location special, though, is the staff. They are attentive, friendly, and genuinely care about creating a great experience for every guest.

Their excellent customer service is a true testament to the management team and the hard work they put in behind the scenes to build such a positive culture.

You can see that the team works well together and it shows in both the service and quality of the bakery.

We came around 6-7pm, and a whole row of baked goods were already gone. I'd probably come earlier in the day when things are more fresh. I got three things: a slice of Green Tea Cloud Cake, an iced Lavender Latte, and a Kimchi Croquette.

I was a little disappointed by the cake. I feel like I got catfished because it looked so pretty behind the glass case. Although it was a green tea cake, I did not taste Green Tea at all. And the frosting was akin to that of a store bought cake. The coffee was ok. The lavender flavor was very subtle.

But what really saved this experience was the kimchi croquette. Although not very fresh, it was still delicious. The kimchi was savory and almost juicy. It worked very well with the fried bun surrounding it. It is something that I would regularly come back for.

Food aside, the space is quite pretty. Being inside feels serene and peaceful, and many people like to work or study here. And even though the cake wasn't very good, it made a nice picture. The service was also nice...

What a great place to grab a coffee drink, baked goods, or sweets and relax in a spacious and bright space.

I recently discovered this new Tous les Jours location and had a craving. I usually get hot house drip coffee or cold brews. The menu offers a variety of signature drinks, lattes, teas, and more! The displays of the baked goods and sweets are so mouth-watering. I grabbed a couple of the pastries with hot dogs and croissants. All were warmed up and satisfied my morning hunger. The hot coffee was better than average and helped my caffeine fix. I'll have to try one of their signature drinks next time.
