White Castle — Restaurant in Bremen Township

Used the app to order. This was a large order. 20 sandwiches, three large sides, and 4 desserts.

Here’s our experience.

Ordered at around 5:15pm via the app. Was given a 5:38pm pickup time.

Headed over there right on time. Got to the drive right on time. There was three cars ahead of us.

After about 5 minutes the car in front of us laid on the horn. Few minutes later they straight up left.

5 more minutes go by and the front car gets their food.

Then they pulled up both the car in front of us as well as us. Surely in attempt to play their timer.

Then they took their sweet time getting both of the orders out.

Finally we received our food at 6pm about a half hour of waiting. Whatever through we have the food ran out to us where we were parked in front of the store. So I didn’t even bother asking for a few mustards for the burgers.

Got home and started un packing the food.

We also had cheese chicken sandwiches. In the app I asked for pickles x2 on the chicken sandwiches. There were 0 pickles on the chicken sandwiches. And the bread was crunchy and stale. Was supper disappointed in their quality. Dry crunchy bread and no pickles like I asked in the app. For the price paid they felt like the worst quality ever.

And then there was the sides. I ordered two large cheese sticks.

They were over cooked and many of them were simply hollow. Paid $16 for a bunch of empty fried hollow breading tubes. Our order took nearly an hour to get out and frozen cheese sticks got messed up. That sucked.

And then the fries. Ordered a large fry. Wish I could tell you the fries were good or bad but they absolutely forget to put them in there.

I would have took all of that disaster back and just got it re made however we ordered ahead because we had an event to watch and we weren’t trying to miss anymore of it. It started at 6pm so we missed the start while we were still pulled up waiting on our order.

$63 for stale bread , overcooked cheese sticks, no pickles when asked for them , missing side , and spent a half hour watching Cicero Avenue while we watched the staff fail to get out a few orders.

I’m for sure going to stay away from White Castles for a long time now. In this economy when I spend $60 I expect a quality product. Not sloppy...

This location is going downhill fast.

Ambiance - The floors and tables were filthy. I stood while waiting for my order rather than sit in some nasty chair. They only had the large straws; they were out of the paper-wrapped variety.

I ordered the advertised $7.99 Cheesy Sack but was charged $9.50 instead. After having the amount corrected I watched them make my sliders. After they were done cooking, it took almost 5 more minutes because the person who screwed up my order had to stop and talk for 30-45 second several times. She couldn't make the burgers and talk at the same time, but when she did make the burgers she did so haphazardly, meaning many buns were half on the burger and the cheese was stuck to the inside of the carton. The shift manager saw this, paused, but then ignored it.

When my food was finally prepared, the person who took my order forgot who it was for and looked around confusedly. I said "thank you" when she handed me my order only to be met with a silent eye roll.

Their freestyle Coke machine was out of many options.

I only have a taste for White Castle every few months, but I will certainly go to another location when that time...

I wanted white castles since we don’t have them near my house. Went in there at 8:35pm. Customers were standing around and there was no employee on the registers. Everyone was in the back. An employee took one order then would go away. Come back 5 min later to take another order than so on. It took 15 to order. Customers were waiting and looking at each other. One employee was cooking their own food to eat. The manager would come up and ask each person what they ordered. You could see customers becoming very impatient and upset. I was say about 45 minutes later, I got my food. They handed me a bag and the fries weren’t in there. An employee pointed to a bag of fries and gave that to me. I got home and the burgers were fine but the fries were uncooked and still white, not crispy like they normally are. It was extremely disappointing and I wouldn’t recommend coming to this location. No one apologized for the wait or cared that much. They focus more on the drive through orders and barely pay attention to the inside. There was about 6 employees working so there was no...
