Westside Pizza, not bad but not excellent either. It's been two maybe three years since we explored Westside Pizza as one of our "go to" options. And my opinion is solely based on "take out" not eating in. Two days ago, we decided to try it once again, ordering online was a snap. We decided to try the Big Kahuna, double Canadian bacon, double pineapple, and extra cheese, How can you go wrong? When I ordered I chose a time for it to be ready, which was 4:00 pm. We picked up the pizza at 4:05 pm and went straight home (we live 5 minutes from Westside Pizza) and started eating it. I sort of feel that pizza probably was sitting there for a little while; it was barely warm. Because it was a takeout pizza, I am certain Westside wanted to make sure our pizza was ready on time, so I do understand that. The pizza was better than before, although I like a lot of sauce, I felt it was a tad too saucy (my cheese was floating), and the sauce was more on the bland side; some people love a bland sauce, we love lots of flavors to be present. But the crust was the killing point for me (I know the wording is a bit dramatic) it was a little soggy, and texture plays a role for me, soggy crust equals unpleasant texture, which affects the taste, Unfortunately. However, there was plenty of meat and pineapple toppings, so that part is a win! The location of Westside pizza doesn't have exactly the most appealing look to it, located on the side of a one-story building that also holds a vitamin/health store and a wireless store, located across from a 7-eleven, right off Wheaton Way. Inside, the atmosphere was a bit dark and drab looking; but at a glance, the restaurant looked clean. We weren't super excited about the personality of the server (ROI). Small chat wasn't his specialty, nor was "Thank you." or any other words, he told me what I owed, and that was it. There isn't an overabundance of parking because West Side Pizza shares the parking lot with the other retailers; however I drive by that area frequently, and I have never seen it overwhelmed with cars, so your probably safe to find parking. Westside probably won't become one of our "go to" places to eat frequently, but in the future, I will try it again and possibly change my rating. Give it a try; it never hurts to try...
Read moreWe ordered pizza from this location online and when I ordered the website said I should receive a confirmation email with order details. I never received a confirmation email so I called the location after 40 minutes to check and make sure they had received the order. When I called I was told that yes they had my order, the pizza was ready but waiting for a delivery driver to come back so they could bring it to me. After half an hour I called again to check on my order (we live 8 mins from this location) and he said that the delivery driver had just left with my order. After another 20 minutes I called and asked that they just cancel my order, he said that was fine and hung up. Two hours after I had originally ordered my pizza, a delivery driver shows up at my house with pizza. I told him we had cancelled, apologized to him, gave him some cash for a tip for his trouble and he left (I did not take the pizza). This was all on a Wednesday night and I ordered at 5pm. No one apologized, told me they were short staffed or gave me any kind of reason this was taking so long.
The following Sunday I called because my credit card had not been credited for the order I never received. The manager stated she'd fix it that day and call me back that night. I never heard from her so I called again Monday. She apologized, said she'd do it that night when she got to work and she'd' call me the next day to let me know she'd reversed it. Today is Wednesday and I have still not heard from anyone, have not heard a reason, have not received an apology.
I have never ordered pizza from this location and after this experience I...
Read moreOrdered pepperoni pizza online for my kids. Pizza was pepperochinis. My kids don't eat pepperochinis. Worker claimed he is the Manager and refused to refund, refused to give contact information for manager or business owner. If you order from this business and they make a mistake - they do not correct mistake or issue refund. You're just ripped off and out your money you spent. If you are military and end up negatively impacted from their mistakes recommend you report them on the FTC website and also report them for consideration of the Off-Limits list for financial practices towards military customers. 2014-2018 I ordered pizza here all the time, but its changed since then and nowadays they don't care about your business. The business doesn't seem to have much orders going, so not sure how they messed up the order. Their front door has been broken for months and they've not cared enough about their business location to have the door fixed. Just seems like an open location that their franchise or owner doesn't care about being successful and it appears economically impoverished and blighted. Staff are not worth interacting with - they don't care if your order is right, or wrong. Pizzas has always been good, but this staff doesn't care unlike their Bainbridge location. Theres a boarded up graffitt-ed restaurant a block up the street past 7-11 and it won't surprise me if this is the next place to shutdown. Ended up getting my kids pizza at dominos and the order...
