I’ve come to this Chick-fil-A ever since it’s been open I’ve never had a bad experience have even let some of the employees meet my monkeys, kangaroos and wallabies, and have always tried to be the best customer to them and have absolutely never had an issue with the Chick-fil-A whatsoever. The only issue I’ve ever had is that the parking lot is so small that anybody with a truck and trailer cannot fit into the parking lot which I understand. It was never an issue with me because it is a fast food place , I have also always been able to find parking spots because the times that I go there is not many people there today I parked in one of those open parking spots and unfortunately miss calculated that I was not going to be able to get out the spot by turning left and pulling through it, so I decided to back up towards the drive-through cones, stopped before I touched them readjusted and was ready to back up to adjust myself a little bit more. Then I was going to ask the employees to move the cones for me if they could, but before I could even do that, I had a manager banging on my window, freaking out like I was going to run over a child for not barley even tapping a parking cone. I would not normally have had a problem with this. I am always very easily able to listen to people and understand where people are coming from especially when stuff like that happens I have worked at fast food places before but the issue here is that the manager without even asking me if I could use some help getting out automatically assumed that I was just going to run over the cones and was demanding that I pull foward I then tried to explain to the manager politely what I was trying to do and while I was trying to explain that she was cutting me off and demanding that I pull forward so I then proceeded to run over the cones. What’s even more ridiculous is that the last time she told me pull up she said or else, and that’s when I made the decision to run them over . I believe this team members name was Cassidy (she was also the person who helped me order my food)as I was driving over the cones which none were damaged because of the way they are designed she told me to never come back again. I understand this sounds petty and it’s something I probably shouldn’t have done but when someone comes up to you throwing their hands up and banging on your window with such a negative attitude nobody is just gonna sit there and listen especially when someone is telling you “move or els” I was absolutely shocked considering the fact I travel all of the state of Texas and have visited a majority of the Chick-fil-As in the state of Texas and in all the time I have been going I’ve always been surprised by how happy and positive the employees are at chick fil a but with this specific team member that’s is no where near the experience I got. I am only posting this here in hopes that Cassidy has no say in weather or not I can come back to that chick fil a considering it’s in a perfect position on my route home from work most days. I will gladly fix and change this review as long as Ms.Cassidy has a lesson on how to properly and politely address people rather than demand and threaten them. I own my own business and understand how hard it can be to bite your tongue but as business owners that is one of the things we have to sometime except, considering not everyone out there is perfect , and it is a valuable lesson not just in business but...
Read moreUpdate: so I waited a while to go back and now I can honestly say I’m not going back to this place, I knew it would be difficult to make this place work in this town. I’m not feeling well so decided on going out rather than cooking and boy do I regret it…. I ordered 6 different meals about 60 bucks first off the counters were disgusting, then the young woman taking my order got upset because she overfilled my drinks and the cups were all wet from the over fill and I asked her to clean them, instead she decided to go get her shift manager to come clean them, all she did was pour out half the drink, so I asked her to clean the 2 drinks, after she saw how wet and gross they were from the over spill and she was just going to give them to me like that, she didn’t she tapped them somewhat so then I asked for the napkin my self so I could do it and she argued and I said I would just do it myself then she shoves a brownie in my face that I didn’t want to try and make it right, so then I move to the pick up side counter filthy also, then I get my food missing fries in the order… we love the franchise just not here sadly. Like I said I hold them to high standards because to other ones I have traveled to just to eat at.. Bastrop is the best very clean and friendly just number one for me…it saddens me but I will drive out of town to get the experience that we love soooo much I wish them the best honestly but they still have a lot of work to do to be at the quality and standards that the surrounding counties are at……don’t think I was being difficult it was a simple easy task I have worked in restaurant business so customer service is a gift and they need some more training if it doesn’t come naturally, just no pride at all. #sadness. PREVIOUS REVIEW I have been here several times, the drinks were not good, the chicken was not cooked, and I do not like that they do not have a service section with napkins, plastic ware, and condiments. I know they are new but I hold Chick-fil-a to a very high standard because I compare it to Bastrop, Cypress, and College Station. I will continue to drive out of town for my Chick-fil-A. I will give them another shot but it wont be for a while. I can say that in one week we went about 4 times during different times, breakfast, lunch, and dinner and spent $180.00 but it just...
Read moreBetween my wife and I, we have made 6 visits since this location opened in late 2023.
Mobile Thru ordering is the only option to order ahead in the app. Abandon the idea of Mobile Thru - we have spent 20, 30, even 35 minutes sitting in that line while watching 3 or 4 times as many cars go through the normal drive thru.
Once you get your food, you will spend another 5 or 10 minutes waiting for the person at the front of the Mobile Thru line to get their order (they forgot to check in when they pulled up).
Now you can finally leave.
Once you get home to eat your cold fries and lukewarm sandwiches, you will realize that they left your Nuggets out completely.
When you realize the mistake and try to call them, nobody will answer and the voice mail box will be full.
Then you’ll have to decide whether it’s worth the trouble to drive back while your food sits there and gets colder.
This is the average experience at Brenham Chick-Fil-A.
They messed up our order today (again, for the 6th time), so we tried to call (again), and nobody answered (again). I decided that it was time to go in person to get a refund for the missing items and politely inform them of the repeated problems.
When asked why they are having so many issues with incomplete orders, the manager said “it takes several months after opening to get our team properly trained”.
Does a team member need more than a day of training to put the correct items into a paper bag? Is it worth it to CFA to wait several more months to find out if they will finally “get it” after thousands of mistakes?
CFA normally delivers excellent service, but the experience at this location is miles below what people expect, along with a dishonest excuse for why they can’t correctly perform the most basic function of a fast food restaurant.
I plan to wait until several months have passed before I visit again; hopefully by then they will have adequately trained their team to place the correct order...
