Denny's Brentwood: A Surprisingly Good Breakfast Experience

I recently had the chance to try out the new Denny's location in Brentwood, CA, off Brentwood Boulevard. I was initially skeptical, as I hadn't had a particularly positive experience at Denny's in the past. However, I was pleasantly surprised.

I ordered the California Skillet with chorizo, which was a generous portion of scrambled eggs, chorizo, peppers, onions, and melted cheese, all served sizzling hot on a cast-iron skillet. The flavors were well-balanced, and the dish was quite satisfying. To accompany my meal, I opted for the bottomless mimosas with orange juice, which were refreshing and a great way to start the day.

The skillet came with three flour tortillas, which were perfect for scooping up the delicious filling. While I appreciated the generous portion size, I did find the tortillas to be a bit dry.

The wait for a table was about 20 minutes, which is understandable considering the popularity of this new location. However, the wait was made more bearable by the efficient QR code payment system when it was time to leave, which allowed me to pay my bill from my seat.

The restaurant was packed, and the service was surprisingly good. Our server was attentive and friendly, and our food arrived promptly. The overall value of the meal was excellent, with affordable prices for a satisfying breakfast.

Based on my experience, I would definitely recommend this Denny's location to anyone looking for a good breakfast spot in Brentwood. I'll certainly be back again, and I'll be sure to bring a friend to enjoy the delicious food and friendly atmosphere.

Room for improvement: The arcade game should be moved to make more room for those waiting. I didnt see any outside heaters, but maybe I missed it. This would likely convince more people to eat outside.

Once we got in we didn't have to wait at all to get seated The View was beautiful in the indoor decoration was fantastic. However we saw it was more pricey than most locations I've been to over all of America. Maybe it's because we live in Brentwood but $16 for the cobb salad seemed unreasonable. My grandma only had an egg some lettuce and Chicken on the side very small portion. I had a California club sandwich which was very small with some fries all for another $16. I feel like soda should be free but it was $3 however I am very pleased that refills were in fact free the food was delicious and the service was great it was not very crowded so when I was reading the reviews about how they were understaffed where there wasn't a lot of wait staff we didn't get to experience the problem because there was only four other people in the restaurant. And then we ordered some mozzarella sticks it was $10 for six sticks but I'm glad that it was delicious because I would have been super mad if they were bad and expensive. Overall for two people it was 63.79 ( one appetizer two full meals no desert two drinks at 17% tip and tax) for two people. I was super excited when Denny's open to Brentwood. Fantastic Food and Service at Denny's!

I had a delightful dining experience at Denny's recently. The food was absolutely delicious – the pancakes were so fluffy and warm. But what truly elevated the evening was the exceptional service we received from our server, Cynthia.

Cynthia was attentive and friendly from the moment we were seated. She offered helpful recommendations from the menu, explaining ingredients and answering all our questions with a smile. Her knowledge of the dishes was impressive, and she clearly took pride in the restaurant's offerings.

Throughout the meal, Cynthia was incredibly efficient without being overbearing. She kept our cups full, checked in on us at the perfect intervals, and ensured our dining experience ran smoothly. But more than that, she was genuinely warm and engaging. We felt like valued guests, not just another table.
