Moe's Southwest Grill — Restaurant in Brentwood

I have had an unpleasant experience the past two times we have come here. The blonde manager has been so rude to me and my boyfriend both times we went to the establishment. The first time I accidentally asked for a side of queso when I wanted a cup. I promoptedly corrected myself. But she got deeply offended for some reason and started to publicly critique me and teach me about the cup size in front of everyone in a very rude tone. The second time we went on my boyfriend began to order and asked for extra rice she scoffed and told that that would be an extra charge. I have been going to moes since I was 5 and my brother also works at moes and I know this is not the case. It was only extra rice not meat not queso. We felt very targeted considering our first unpleasant experience was less than a week before hand. We will not be coming back to this moes. Not good, they ran out of chicken, so your only options were steak or beef, then you could not get a reasonable portion size, then they ran out of beef!!! When asked why the portion size was so small, answer was thats the way it is, so to get a reasonable portion, you pay extra...the person preparing my food was a little bothered that I questioned my portion ( I ordered a large burrito, she places a half of scoop of beefing the middle of the tortilla), but I'm sure if she was making food for herself, she's more generous. If you give people lousy portions but still charge regular prices, not cool. Won't be back.

This has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I loved Moe's so much that me and my son literally argued if Chipotle or Moe's was better! Today we visited for the first time in about a year. My Chipotle loving son noticed that the flavor of all the food had changed, I tasted it and noticed as well but of course I denied it. Lol. Hell the bowl, salsa, queso and even the chips changed! 😫😭 But why? I was heart broken and devastated. In denial, I had to make sure I wasn't tripping and that my taste buds hadn't switched up on me. I asked the workers "did yall change the ingredients or the way yall cook the food?." They admitted that the meat is baked now, not cooked on the grill thing and that everything has changed.
