Pescado's Burritos — Restaurant in Brevard

It's pretty good. They do have fish, but it's not a fish centered place, so I'm not sure why the name. They are a pretty standard burrito place. It is sort of like a Chipotle, but less corporate feeling, I am pretty sure this is the only location. Pricing seems pretty standard, maybe a sight bit more than a Chipotle or Salsaritas. Probably around $9. I got a steak and bacon burrito. I wanted to get the chorizo, but they were out, so bacon was substituted. I got their purple spicy slaw, the corn based salsa, black beans, rice, picked jalapeños, chipotle-ranch, and sour cream. Guacamole costs more because one week dice years ago the price of bulk avocado went up a few cents per pound so every restaurant serving any pinch of avacado started charging more for it, and the following week when the bulk price went down of course the new inflated guacamole price stayed the same, because that's the reality we live in. Things will always get more expensive, and wages will stay the same until we are all so poor there will be nothing left to take. Then the rich will turn on each other because they can never be satisfied. They never have have enough. They will steal from each other until there are just a few left, and we will live as serfs in their empires. But guacamole is not anymore expensive at Pescado's Burritos than anywhere else. Customer care is an understatement for this establishment. The food is always amazing and the owner himself a selfless wonderful man who constantly is giving back to his community. When schools shut down he didn’t hesitate for a second to offer free meals for the local kids that rely on school lunches. This establishment is not only a wonderful restaurant but knowing that as a patron you are truly cared about and if things go south Corey will still make sure you are taken care of just makes it that much better. You won’t be sorry with your choice to dine here and if by some weird freak occurrence you are disappointed, Corey and his crew will do any and everything possible to make it right again. I am not one to complain or write posts BUT... Would give lower if I could. Have been coming here for about a year now but the attitude and now the quality of food has dropped. First started with the disappearing straws and having to drink from cups that you would hope are clean but have noticed lipstick on before. The staff didn't care. BIG ISSUE TONIGHT Found what was either plastic or paper in my fish burrito and it was dismissed as fish skin. I have lived on the coast for well over 20 years of my life, this did not break apart or feel like fish skin to me on my mouth. The staff didn't both trying to rectify the situation at all.
