Taylor Sam's — Restaurant in Brick Township

This place was amazing! Last minute breakfast date with a friend. After calling 4 different overs knowing no one takes over the phone reservations it call aheads Taylor Sam’s was the risk we were working to take! Beautiful clean spacious happy environment. I can’t stand going to a Restaurant where everyone feels like they’re on top of you & it’s so loud you can barely hear the person you’re sitting with. The food was absolutely delicious. There was a lot of perfected detail in my simple sausage egg & cheese that made it 10x better. The egg was just wet enough to enjoy it but not make a mess of my hands, the roll was definitely toasted to perfection because there was a noticeable crisp to it, the sausage was also super flavorful & juicy but again cooked thoroughly that the edges were crispy. The special I ordered for after my sausage egg & cheese was the cookies & creams pancakes. They were amazing; fluffy pancakes, warm crunchy Oreo topping & cream cheese icing, I seriously did not want to share them. Our server was super sweet he helped us with the menu & specials that are always updating. The employees there were all great filling up our waters clearing our plates (being that we got a lot of food; sausage egg & cheese sandwich with a side of home fries, Kentucky breakfast platter with fried chicken & legs over a waffle with a side of 3 eggs, & then the cookies & cream...

Editing my original review. THe owner Cheryl did call as soon as seeing the original review and was empathetic and actually listened to me. Unfortunately at that time there was no remedy as we had moved on to order food from another establishment. She did ensure if we were to order again that she would address any concerns moving forward and asked why I didn't ask to speak to her originally- I explained again because I couldn't even speak on the phone while her employee was overtalking me. She seemed genuine in her apologies and her attempt to rectify the situation.

Our office has ordered plenty from this place and the food has always been great- when ordering this time our previous didn't populate as it always has. We usually request that we want no cheese on one of our sandwiches. Our order came and we talked to the driver about it- he shortly came back to our office with the sandwich and we got a call from a woman who was rude and overtalking explaining that I would have to take the sandwich the way it is and pay for a new one in addition to waiting at least 40 mins. She wasn't pleasant and sadly had no interest in even delivering an ounce quality customer service. I get it was an oversight that we made but her personality and unwillingness to even work with a repeat customer is sadly why we cannot support this business...

This is under my wife's name so let's start with that... Lol. So that being said, my wife and I try to get there as often as we can! We live and Monmouth County but we will travel to Ocean County to come here! The food is OUTRAGEOUS! Here's what I would do if I were you and you were going here for the first time. They have a great menu to choose from. That's a no-brainer... However, check out the special list when they hand you the menus. If there is a burger on there and you like everything that's on their burger on the special menu, get that burger! It doesn't make a difference, as long as you like the toppings and you're willing to try a phenomenal burger, whatever that burger is on that special menu, GET IT!!! My wife's favorite here at breakfast time, or at any time for that matter, they're French toast! But now that you listen to our favorites... Never had a bad meal here! And the most important factor is known to man when going out to a place like this or any place, especially for breakfast, COFFEE! You're nothing without great coffee! And they have GREAT COFFEE!!! And of course at lunch time you better have good iced tea! And yes, once again, they have GREAT ICED TEA!!! BOTTOM LINE FOLKS YOU NEED TO STOP BY HERE AND GET YOURSELF SOME BREAKFAST AND LUNCH!!! PS DON'T FORGET THE COFFEE AND ICED TEA!!!...
