IHOP — Restaurant in Brick Township

I recently visited the IHOP located at 1759 NJ-88, Brick Township, NJ 08724, and I am thrilled to share my wonderful experience. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted by the front-end team with warm smiles and welcoming attitudes. The check-in process was smooth and efficient, and I was pleasantly surprised by the short wait time – I was seated within just 5 minutes!

Once seated, our server promptly attended to us and was nothing short of amazing. They were attentive, knowledgeable about the menu, and provided excellent recommendations. Their friendly demeanor made us feel right at home, and their professionalism truly enhanced our dining experience.

The food, of course, was the highlight of our visit. Every dish we ordered was cooked to perfection and absolutely delicious. From the fluffy pancakes to the savory omelets, each item exceeded our expectations in both taste and presentation. It’s clear that the kitchen staff takes pride in their work, ensuring each plate is crafted with care.

The entire team at this IHOP location deserves recognition for their exceptional service. Everyone we interacted with was courteous and eager to ensure we had a pleasant visit. The place was very clean the waiter was very nice.. but the waiter never checked on us because his other tables were on the other side of the room I don't understand why they would put us where they put us when his tables were all the way on the other side we had to basically get up and get him every time we needed him. Then on top of that the greeter was not very nice when we walked in she was like hold on I'll see you in a minute like yelled at us instead of being like one minute well I finish what I'm working on or something it was very rude and then when she did seat us she like walked away didn't say follow me just expected us to know to follow her it was crazy. also a group walked in and the greeter was nowhere to be found so they got very upset and left. Then a few guys walked in and the lady goes are you guys coming in like obviously they're coming in they just walked in the door they're not going out they just walked in why would you ask that again the greeter was just very rude and nowhere to be found when people needed her I wish I would have gotten her name to tell the manager how she treated all the customers from the time I was there including me to the time I left. the food was great though and the waiter was great other than having to serve different people on two different sides of the place please get rid of...

I went there to the bricktown nj location for my birthday day breakfast and I must say that the young man that served us was new and it was his second day and his manners was good however I feel that the could have assisted him more when it came to serving customers . He was very nice. However the young lady by the name of Gina could have been more professional. where I was seated all I can hear was her talking about other staff not to mention she was very loud right behind my head where I was seated, and when I asked her her name, she began to get very annoyed and started talking to other staff asking other staff why I asked for her name. I felt very annoyed and very uncomfortable. I could not finish my plate 🤬Just paid my bill and left. I also got an email stating that my for your birthday pancakes was free not that I wanted free pancakes but it was just the principal, even my granddaughter, and 12 years old kept saying to me grandma why is that lady acting like that? . I haven’t been there in 10 years so I figured I would pay a visit to that location being that I used to go there all the time when I lived in the area. not to mention it look like they were very short staffed.
