As a pizza connoisseur, I heard about this place and had to try it. I got the Mozzarella Sticks which they make in-house and of course, their standard cheese pizza. The Mozzarella Sticks were larger than typical ones and the breading is very good. I wish I had gotten to them a little sooner because they'd have been even better hot, but that's on me. Now for the pizza, as far as the crust, they NAILED it. Not many places can get crust that perfect. I can only think of a few in Brick. When it comes to the Sauce and Cheese this is where they missed the mark a little bit for my taste. The sauce seemed a tad too sweet. And I felt like there could have been a little more cheese that would have possibly helped balance it out and make it a little more savory. I noticed they seem to use the Maruca's style of "Spiral Sauce/Cheese Disbursement". I feel like this contributes to an overall lack of enough cheese because it's only spread across 1/2 the pizza theoretically. I usually like to see a little bit of grease drip from the pizza which is usually a result of the Whole Milk Mozzarella melting. I didn't get any of that with this Pizza. Read moreWent here for take out 4/28/23 at 5:30pm. After seeing the name I expected to see an actual brick oven but only saw the same stainless steel gas commercial oven that most pizza places have. We were expecting that nice crust you get when pizza is cooked in a wood fired brick oven, no chance. We ordered a margarita and a plain pie, crust was much thinner than the description on their website for the margarita and it was very greasy and the plain pie had a ridiculous amount of oregano on it. We tried to call them but no answer. They aren’t yet organized when it comes to answering phones and handling the people walking in, part of our order was forgotten so while I was waiting they were quite busy and running around, the phone went unanswered for at least one call while I was waiting. Read moreWe ordered a Meatball parm, eggplant The Parm, cheesesteak (which I ordered as a wrap and got a bun), Hand Rolled Mozzarella Sticks , french fries (well done) with cheese on the side (the fries tasted oily and had to much pepper on them, Mac and Cheese Mac Bites , Teos Teo's House-made Soda (black cherry) and 4 House-made Cannolis . My total with tip (I used door dash) came to a little over $100. NOT WORTH IT! The ONLY things that were good were the Mac Bites and there was too much garlic for my taste and the Hand Rolled Mozzarella Sticks which are ALWAYS GREAT! NOTHING ELSE WAS FINISHED. The meatball parm sub and eggplant were gross. The cheesesteak had so much salt I could only get through 2 Bites. The House-made Cannolis were ok considering they are from a pizza place.
