This was a horrible experience. Was in town for my father's viewing from Baltimore. Was totally ignored by the server until I spoke up that we were seated 15 minutes already as she was waiting on a table that just walked in. We finally ordered after 15 minutes waiting just to wait another 10 minutes for our drinks. The server came back about 45 minutes later as our drinks were empty and informed us and the table that was seated after us that the kitchen had a new cook and they are running behind. Still did not offer to bring us another drink. An hour later we got our food. I ordered the wildfire chicken salad that looked delicious in the menu..it consisted of lettuce, cheese, tortilla chips and grilled chicken( I ordered the country fried chicken) nothing like the menu stated , my daughter ordered a western omelette the vegetables were hard and cold the cheese was not even melted, my sister ordered bacon eggs and homefries the bacon was burnt to the point it was black and crumbled into pieces when picked up, my niece ordered steak and shrimp, the steak was suppose to be medium well it was like shoe leather and the fried shrimp was burnt to the point she couldn't bite into it. Also the omelets came with fresh fruit ( the picture showed cut assorted fresh fruit in a bowl) they brought out an unpeeled banana and about 10 grapes still on the vine. When the manager came to the table across from us because they also complained I got her attention and said the service and food was unacceptable she smiled and sorta shrugged her shoulders and said it was a new cook. I said this food should never have made it to a table in this condition she said im sorry . I asked if she would eat shrimp that looked like that and she laughed and said no I don't eat seafood. Not the answer a manager should have given. She walked away and the server came back and said we took 10% off your check. 10%???? That was like a slap in the face for food that we left sit on the table!! I'm giving one star generously but in reality it would be A -5 stars. I would never recommend this restaurant to anyone. We only stayed because we were not from the area and we were headed back to Baltimore after a long ride in that morning from Baltimore for a funeral! Bob Evans you...
Read moreWent with my Family (Party of 5) for Sunday "Brunch" and had horrible experience. Staff just did not seem to care. It started when we were skipped accidentally for another "5 Top". The staff kept apologizing for the long wait and said they were working on a table. Ok, that happens sometimes. While waiting though, I heard the Manager ask a customer as he was ringer her out how everything was and she started to complain that everything was cold. I should have taken this as a bad sign and left with my family at this point. Instead, we stated and eventually were sat at two tables pushed together. My middle one and I ordered orange juice as our beverage. I tasted mine and it seemed very thin, watered down. There was pulp at least so I figured it was just low quality. Then I looked over at the 12 year old and she was making a face. Her "Orange Juice" was literally colored water. When we brought this up to the waitress she apologized and said the machine must be running low. Wow, Bob Evans is not a five star gourmet restaurant, but it is not cheap either. Why are they watering down OJ at all? We then waited 45-50 minutes for food. We could tell a lot of it was waiting under warning lamps for a long time. The bananas on the youngest's pancakes were brown from oxidation Overall, really poor experience. Next time we will just go to the FOB and get some real Down...
Read moreI worked at this Bob Evans when it opened, so im a little partial I guess.
We had a large group of 8 adults and 3 kids but I don't know how long they waited to be seated as part of the group were already seated.
The restaurant was clean and welcoming. Table was a little giving when you put your elbows on it.
We all ordered different things, everything came out well presented, clean, and hot. The waitress was attentive and drinks were always full.
The blueberry bread is delicious...don't skip it. I ordered the turkey dinner...I think it day on the counter Uber the heart lamp a bit as the gravy dried on the turkey. The turkey wasn't dry with the gravy.
Only complaints were the broccoli is cooked oddly. I think it was microwaved and then grilled and wasn't fully cooked. When the good came (not delivered by the waitress) the girl that brought it out stood at the far end of the table and had is pass everything out rather then walking around the table to place it in front of the person. Not a huge deal...just an observation.
Best part is my dad had an email coupon with 20% off. So sign up on their website if you...
