I'll give them 3 stars for now . I went there early one Saturday morning at as it was closer to my job. I was calling them around 7am to see if they were open and to see what was ready. No one answered the phone. I went ahead anyway, they were open . A lot of things wasn't ready, no porridge , no fry dumplings. The guys in there were friendly and accommodating and I had some time to kill, so I decided to wait. After waiting for 30 mins for a salt mackerel and liver breakfast, only to be told that they couldn't accept my debit card as the cashier , who seems to be the only one who knows how to work that system, was not there as yet. I was not going to leave and come back, so I waited until the cashier decided to come to work . Typical day in most Jamaican restaurants. So I'll give them the 3 stars for being friendly and the food was delicious . They can easily get 5 stars if they answer the phone and have breakfast ready to go by at least 7am as there is a big workforce in the area and train their workers to use...

Now, I feel like I have given this place 1 too many chances and their rice constantly disappoints me. The rice tastes like it’s at least 3 days old. It tastes stale. I didn’t even know if stale could be a taste but they made it possible. I am completely flabbergasted as to how such an establishment is still standing. Their Brown Stew Fish was utterly disgusting. The “stew” was so thick, it felt and tasted like straight up ketchup. I wiped as much of the “stew” off, hoping to salvage the fish but the fish was over cooked. I even took it up another notch and added Matouk’s Hot sauce to it and I still couldn’t get the food down. The cabbage was probably the only possible good thing on my plate and even so it wasn’t seasoned. I absolutely hate wasting food, and yet I had to throw my plate out. I feel like I was bamboozled. The workers were decent. Not nice but not...

They must have changed chefs or ownership. The jerk chicken needed more time on the grill for the seasoning to cook through, tasted like the seasoning was just added, asked for jerk sauce and brown stew gravy, got neither. Curry chicken was too salty and not well seasoned. Rice & Peas was too soft and not enough cabbage (the mixed veggies are unnecessary), plantains should come with it. Lunch special cost increased but the amount of food decreased (smaller container), make it make sense. Shrinkflation at its finest. If the prices increase, the taste and quality should also increase but sadly it has been the opposite. I wasn’t greeted or acknowledged but the next customer behind me was while I was still at the register gathering my order…I will not...
