So, I went in to order a sweet 16 cake for my daughter and I was met with no hello or anything. Lady proceeded to walk to me and ask me what I needed and I told her I would love a pink sweet 16 cake for my daughter, she asked me for how many and I said 8 people, she then asks if I have a picture and I said no I don’t and she said that I would have to go on the website and pick a picture I wanted and look at pricing. I told her I just wanted a pink cake, 1 layer with baby pink colors. She begin to tell me we are not like Walmart and I said ok I’m trying to tell you what I want, but she would not help me at all. She had a bad attitude and would not give me any information. I felt like I completely bothered then from the minute I walked in. I don’t think I was asking for much but she told me to leave and look on their website cause she don’t know what I want even though I just explained it to her. They will never get my business again. If she was nice about it it would be different but she looked at me like I was an alien and I was completely embarrassed because I didn’t think it was this damn hard to order a cake. I feel bad that my daughter will not have a beautiful cake for her sweet 16. I didn’t want much to it so I don’t understand what the problem was. My first time and last time going there. Make sure you go through every rule they have before going in or they will look at you like you’re crazy. You can defend your employees all day but I know the strange look I was given and I felt really stupid for not doing my research before coming. I’ve since went on your sight and saw pricing but I didn’t see a sweet 16 cake on there. Also it does say to come in and order the cake but doesn’t say anything about bringing a picture either. I didn’t want anything fancy and that’s what I was implying when I said I just want a round pink sweet 16 cake and if I went back again I would say the same thing, I know there’s other details that go into preparing the cake that you need to know and I would have been happy to have done any of that. I took off work a little early so I could get it done because I didn’t know how much notice you all needed, I told them September 1st. The tone in communication with them was condescending. I put in a quote for a cake on the website. The website wouldn’t allow me to submit without adding information in certain areas so I used the same budget that was up on the website ( which I really was looking for a general quote). I was thinking that a quote is a quote and you’re going to quote me on what I’m asking for even if it’s outside of what’s in the budget box (I literally didn’t care about the price). Lol I added a few pictures Of what I wanted on the cake instead of an actual cake picture being that I was told by a friend they make original cakes with original ideas. We went back-and-forth a few emails and all I was looking for was a quote. I had the idea that the people here are visionaries lol. I gave them a vision all right… they asked for a photo to see what I want. I pulled one from google. They could’ve given me an actual quote on what I was asking for, but instead, they sent me a message telling me why they can’t in condescending manner we went back-and-forth a few emails. I tried the ice cream cookie sandwich. I think they called it a cookie-wich. They had chocolate and vanilla icecream. I picked chocolate. Several cookie types were available. I tried chocolate. It comes with a topping choice of m&ms or sprinkles. They recommended if I picked m&ms that I should get them on the side, they said they get hard. It was very good. The icecream was softer than other icecream cookie sandwiches I've had, which is not a bad thing, but it does make it a little messier, so grab a napkin from the counter when you pay. Some icecream cookie sandwiches fall apart as you eat them, this one held up very well. I didn't have to use the spoon I was offered.
