This is for corporate since no one at that store will probably read this or care. I know corporations monitor and do calls so here you go! Silas did everything he could do. He made an honest mistake on my order. He apologized as he made his best attempt to own his action on day 2 of being on the register. He did everything he could do and remained friendly as I’m sure it was intimidating to stare down a customer and a mistake. Mistakes are how we learn so no big deal Silas, keep up your learning, I hope you succeed, you deserve it! The female manager who said there name was Damian after being asked and begrudgingly told me (for some reason I’m not sure this was her name, night shift May 8th) seemed busy - the place was empty and they were all doing side work. 1 other customer and a to go order maybe for perspective. The tea was already broken down and basically empty, one guy was acting like he was sweeping (he sat down and eavesdropped on my family’s conversation.). Someone mixed sweet tea into my regular tea, my kid didn’t get his chips, I had to grab the drinks, and the manager wasn’t friendly. The manager didn’t introduce herself or offer a name and seemed genuinely annoyed to the fact that I wanted my money back for the mistake. She did fix the mistake I guess. It was a little over a dollar or so but it was mine. (I gave this money as a tip to Silas for the record.) I think I heard a comment to the tune of like “it’s just a dollar” from the manager. My ears could of been playing tricks on me. I was very polite and was only asking for a correction. Just want the world and corporate to know the food was good the service was terrible. The only person other than the chef personnel wise was the kid Silas who made the mistake that were awesome. The manager did not train him or even show him where his mistake was or how to fix it. I honestly feel bad because it shows integrity in todays world to stand your ground, own your mistake, and apologize. Train and promote this kid please, and no one is perfect but this is the second place of yours I won’t go back to now strictly because of service. I should of went to Chick Fillet down the street. Thought you might want to know your front of house staff could...
Read moreThe 3 workers were really nice. The chicken Cesar wrap was NOT good at all. I ordered 2 and they were falling apart bc there wasn’t enough stuff inside to roll a wrap so it is just limpy and everything falls out. The ceaser wrap was cut with a dirty knife because there’s mustard swiped right down the cut. The dressing on the ceaser was not tossed well and the chicken was shredded and not as described in the menu. Spent 26.00 on this and no drinks. Added bacon to one wrap. Hardly had it inside and like I said it all just fell apart bc there’s nothing inside. Upside to a mac n cheese and I would have expected a Mac like St. Louis bread company for the price but this was like KFC mac or like a heat lamp buffet Mac n cheese. I mean my kid ate it but yeah. If I owned this franchise I’d be seriously taking a look at who I have behind that window making food for people bc they probably getting paid the most and doing the least thinking they know how to good. This was our first and last time at this McAllisters and you would have thought that even them all knowing we had never been before that the cook would have tried to toss a salad and make a dressing no so sour and every part of the quality portion and price was below and this is my first complaint ever in my life. I would have contacted this store directly but their website isn’t in operation and there was like 2 customers in this entire huge store and I can see absolutely why and what a waste of money bc the one in wentzville is really busy and tastes hella good. I wish I could get my money back forreal bc I spent 30 dollars on a meal for me and my son and it’s Friday and now we are making sandwiches at home later bc this was so disgusting. This store will absolutely go out of business this year if the owner doesn’t r see or care. What a waste...
Read moreWOW - They have changed! I used to love eating at this place but times have changed! The first thing I heard when I walked in the door was the cook in the back telling the cashiers not to take any more orders. They had a lot of online orders that needed to be processed and the in store customers have to wait. They repeated the cook's instructions to each customer over the next 30 minutes and most customers walked out. I was one of the few lucky people that was allowed to place an order before they cut off customers.
The next complaint is pricing. I like to order from the "choose 2" option and get a half sandwich and half salad. They have started charging $1.50 for each "premium option" from the menu but everything listed was marked as "premium". This is just a crafty way of charging $3.00 more by using a fine print disclaimer.
The tiny half sandwich doesn't last long but the half salad is a nice size. I enjoyed my food and the staff were friendly to me. It felt nice having the restaurant mostly to myself while everyone else was turned away. Unfortunately I can't go back to this restaurant because of the issues explained in this review. A rule that should apply to everyone is, if you complain about a company then you can no longer do business with them. Don't complain about the cost of milk and eggs and then turn around and buy them from a store that overcharges. Enjoy privileges while you...
