This location is under new ownership. They are finally open consistently and they are trying.
I placed a mobile order a couple weeks back. I followed the process: parked in a designated spot, called in my order, waited. Yes you read that right, you have to call inside to tell them you are there.
It took a bit, but my order came out... it was wrong... they took it back and advised they would get it corrected. They DID correct it including all the proper sauces/condiments but it took over 20 minutes.... I had already waited about 10 minutes before they brought me the wrong order. Sigh.... Cars in the drive through were steady going through. To recap: that's over a 30 minute wait for basically a fast food order.
The food when I got it was so good! I ordered a larger order for multiple people, my order was $4 pack with a double cheeseburger and fries. You cannot beat their double cheeseburger! So good!
Overall this experience left a lot to be desired, but I'm giving them 3 stars (instead of less) because they acknowledged, apologized and corrected the error. The Manager delivered my corrected order and shared that this location is new to the mobile app ordering and they just realized it was showing up differently than they thought - hence the wrong order coming out to me. They seem to want to do better and I hope they do, because I love to eat there food and am happy to have a location close...
Read moreSo, I have had a vast amount of different experiences at this steak and shake. I’m gonna give it to you real, this is a subpar establishment. It happens to be the only alive steak and shake in the area, and that is a blight because it’s on its way out. The price varies greatly from day to day, genuinely my friend and I can’t figure out why but it seems to be a completely different total everytime we order the same items! How does this happen Steak and Shake? This is disappointing. You know what’s more disappointing? My friend went out on a whim today, and ordered something that he does not usually order, a birthday cake shake. Sounds refreshing right? Well it would be, if they added their promised birthday cake into the shakes.. is that not the whole appeal? My friend got two measly (and I mean measly) flat and small chunks. I mean really? Are you that in debt that you can’t afford a scoop of birthday cake? Jesus guys, step it up. For a place that markets on their shakes, they do a very bad job at making them, not only are the portion sizes abysmal (only one size option; smaller than my will to return, and livelihood after receiving my birthday cake-less shake) but they are never mixed to completion. If they are? There’s much too little appeal when they’re done. Guys, don’t waste your money here when you can purchase ice cream, milk and cake mix for a fraction...

Instead of having personal conversations she should have been trying to figure out why her kitchen was sending out food one at a time. My wife ordered a trjple burger with everything but ketchup and mustard with cheese fries. Simple right...no it must have been the most difficult task in the world. They sent the fries to the table 4 min before the burger so guess what the fries and cheese are cold now. The buger gets there and its plain. When the new server takes it back to get new fries they put it on one plate like it should be but aent the same cold fries with hit cheese with the burger. Now everything is cold but the cheese. We askes that the burger and fries be taken back and get new everything and to speak with the manager. The manager never came nor offered the new server help. Again the kitchen sends out the cheese fries no burger, we ask to speak with manager again she tells the server just give them the fries the burger will be up shortly. At this point we have had enough. We ask for the check for my chili and tip the server. The manager sees ua at the register and walks back into the drive thru area where she looks at us the entire time. After we pay for my chili and begin to exit the establishment she then ask the cashier what we wanted. That is not the way you handle customers....
