I went into the store today to purchase groceries. It was raining and cold. When I came to the front I noticed there were no shopping carts , I went in and there were no shopping carts. I asked the cashier if she could have a staff get some shopping carts. At this point there were two elderly women needed carts as well. The cashier stated "if you want a cart you need to go to the parking lot and get one". I was in shock!! She was extremely rude. I would have left but one of the elderly ladies was about to go back out into the rain to get a cart so I told them I would get us all carts. I came back in extremely wet and noticed the cashier smirking. When I completed my shopping guess who was the only cashier working... You guessed it miss sunshine. As I was unloading my items she was scanning and packing. When I got home I realized she put raw meat in the same bags as my vegetables and fruit. She put the candles I purchased in with heavy canned items (candles were broken when I got home). She was rude and never uttered one word to me. I should have asked for an employee discount since I was having to do her job. FYI: texarkana Texas location. The plus side is this is the cheapest place in town to purchase food... I was publicly and physically harassed and harmed by the store manager and 2 other store associates on 1.6.17. This physical altercation lead me to being arrested and the 3 employees that physically placed their hands on me did not get arrested not punish for thier crime at Dellwood Crossing, 10030 West Florissant, Saint Louis MO 63136. They destroy my cell phone valued at $600.00, my Louis Vuitton Hand bag valued at a $1000.00, I was harassed in the store by management to leave my personal bag at the counter. I ask to speak to management I was told to leave l, she stated she owed the property, ger mistake is that she doesn't own the Sav-a- Lots Brand, she ran up on me in a threaten way after making such statements. One of the staff members stated that was his sister, he threaten to go get a gun. My clothes are torn brand new red dickes uniform, or have cuts on my finger, I had to have jewelry cut of when they place me in jail due to the fact my right arm was and still is swollen. I recently went into my local save a lot in Columbus Ohio. The security guard made me put my messenger bag up front. I said sure as long as everyone else puts their bags up too. He said what bags and I pointed to a woman shoppers bag and he said "that's a purse". I'm a white guy male and I believe this was blatant discrimination as NOBODY else shopping had to put their so called "purses" up front. I finished my shopping paid with a $100 dollar bill and walked to get my bag which he was NOWHERE near of. As it was right by the entrance on the floor anyone could have ran out with it. I had my work documents, badge, cell phone, medication, etc in there. I politely reminded him that it's 2024 and nobody carries just "purses" anymore. Imagine if I were a transvestite or cross dresser? I shop there A LOT and so do my friends and family. This is BLATANT homophobic discrimination and I'm not going to stand for it. I've called my family lawyer and I plan on getting something done for this. It's illegal and not even a store policy...
