I was handed apple pies through the drive-through window that were boiling hot and one was falling apart in its flimsy paper packaging and ended up burning me. I did not require medical attention, but it hurt like hell! I had this huge red spot on me for several days where molten super hot apple pie filling had burned my skin. I alerted KFC's customer service division and they sent me a $5 coupon. REALLY??!! I would think they would have at least personally responded with even a generic "I'm sorry," but I didn't even get that- just the coupon. Yes, I had no long term damage, but a $5 coupon doesn't exactly cut it when you get burned by a company's food product, handed to you by an employee employed with said company. Highly dissatisfied!!! Would NOT recommend. If this is the way the "higher-ups" do things from the corporate level, they obviously don't care about their customers too much. No lasting damage was the end result. However, I didn't appreciate having to blend all kinds of concealer and whatnot to cover up a huge red spot due to their negligence. KFC -if you're reading this- treat your customers well, because they're faithful and have been coming to you for years and love your products. If there is a customer service issue address it properly. Perhaps take a look at your current policies and procedures to review.... do dome analysis and possibly implement change...
Read moreWalked into KFC in Somerville, NJ this afternoon for takeout. We've been dealing with a heatwave in NJ for a few weeks. It was about 98 ℉ in the restaurant. I asked the employee at the register if the air conditioning was broken & was told it has NOT worked all summer. The owner SHOULD BE ASHAMED OF THEMSELVES!!! Employees working with masks in a scalding hot restaurant with zero ventilation! Was told they have asked repeatedly for the a/c to be repaired & the owner has refused!!! I hope the employees walk out & refuse to work. Maybe the selfish and atrocious owner will realize they are the lowest form of human beings!!!! Read moreI want to give amazing kudos to this location - I have ordered two large orders for my nursing home residents in the past 6 months. Each time the order was hot and ready to go when I arrived. Today's order was nicely prepared and sent out in hot aluminum trays, so the chicken didn't get soggy and the skin wasn't ripped off by other pieces stacked on top. My residents enjoyed it tremendously! KFC made the ordering of 50+ pieces of exact chicken wings, legs, breasts, and thighs effortless on my part! Thank you!
