Im disappointed to leave a negative review but I didn't have a good experience with the sushi. It was a splurge after a tough couple weeks of work but i regretted it unfortunately. The sushi didn't have great flavor and the ginger dressing on the salad was pretty bland compared to others I've had. I paid for Eel sauce and spicy mayo, didn't get it and could only each a couple pieces of each roll before my stomach started feeling unsettled. I've had a good experience getting the lunch special w regular rolls in the past so I thought spending the extra bucks for the special rolls would be worth it. Food and sushi was decent but my issue was with the waiters,, they did not listen. I order a tamago nigiri (2pcs) , unagi nigiri (eel,2pcs), shrimp tempura appetizer, and a beef teriyaki plate. I was brought out tamago sashimi, a double order of unagi shashimi, and a tempura sushi roll. None of what I ordered, I politely sent it back and re-explained what I wanted. Then they brought out the second order and I still ended up getting a double order of unagi sashimi. I just settled and then when the bill came it was $55. I’ve heard so many amazing things about this place and was disappointed. I’ve had better sushi at Aikou in Warren. Since I’m pregnant I can only eat cooked or vegetable sushi so I ordered the California roll and shrimp tempura roll (which is exactly what I’ve ordered from Aikou) as a pick up order. Maybe it’s made better when you dine in but presentation wise and flavor were just ok and roll size was smaller. It reminded me a bit like supermarket sushi.
