La Terraza Mexican Bar & Grill Brimfield-Tallmadge — Restaurant in Brimfield Township

The food is great if you eat inside the restaurant, but anytime I tried to place a pickup order online it’s been a disaster. The first time I went in, I told the girl behind the counter that I had a pickup order and she said okay. I waited 20 minutes before approaching the counter again, and the girl began to look. It turns out that even though I paid for my order online, they didn’t receive it. So while I was standing there, the girl behind the counter hadn’t bothered to look for my food at all. So replaced my order, and waited for my food for another 15 minutes.

Tonight I decided to try again, I placed my order on their website, paid and my boyfriend went to pick it up. They charged him again for the food that I had already paid for. I had to call 5 times to get somebody to answer the phone, and it took 15 minutes for the manager to find my orders to verify that I had indeed been charged twice. What confuses me is that you can’t place the order online without paying, so why charge for a pickup?

If you can’t figure out how to do online ordering simply don’t do it. It’s absolutely insane to me that they offer a service that they cannot get...

We frequent both this location and the Kent location. The food is real authentic style Mexican that is cooked fresh and fast. The portions are well worth the money, we always leave with boxes of leftovers for another entire meal when we get home. The patio is wonderful to take advantage of in the summer months and the inside is very clean. The staff is very welcoming and helpful, they make us feel like family. They remember our orders every time we visit now, I guess we have become regulars over the past couple of years. On the couple of occasions a mistake was made on our order they were quick to rectify the situation and make sure we were happy and satisfied with the resolution. We do enjoy one other Mexican style restaurant in the area, so it is a tough choice sometimes, but we have never be disappointed when we choose La Terraza. We took my Uncle here for a surprise birthday gathering with family and friends. We didn't know what to expect , because we had a group of 10 to 12 on a same day reservation. Our experience was one that will be remembered for a life time because of the kind, helpful, enthusiastic staff, great pitchers of margaritas, endless amounts of chips with salsa, cheese sauce with chorizo, amazing Mexican dishes and including very tasty shrimp. Our waitress was prompt, friendly, and made sure our every need was taken care of during our visit. She waited on us with smile and energy that helped made the night epic. We finished up our night with the staff singing happy birthday to my Uncle for an awesome evening with family and friends. Thank you for making the night memorable.
