this is my 2nd time at this panera in the last 2 weeks and i’ve never been treated like this before. the first time i waited at the window (which i don’t mind, i’ve worked in the food industry before) for almost 10 minutes without even being greeted and there wasn’t even a line before or after me, i understand if the inside is busy but you still need to greet your customer at the window especially with how many people were standing there. then when i got my food, there was very minimal to no customer service by the girl at the window and my sandwich looked like it was just thrown together and the window was shut in my face, not even looked at. it was a veggie sandwich, so with having worked there (different location) as a teenager, i know it shouldn’t take that long to then look like that. my 2nd time was just today and the girl taking my order wasn’t friendly when i asked to have a different bread for my sandwich (i’m pregnant and have aversions) she just said “No.” then i heard laughing when i asked for the bread i wanted. also, when i got to the window, the manager i assume (red collared shirt) used a bag that was opened on the dirty floor for longer than i was at the window because it was already there when i pulled up and waited. i ordered a toasted sandwich and it came out cold. i totally get some people have off days, i’ve worked and now i am a mom of 4, but i feel like there’s no genuine customer...
Read moreMy son and I arrived to a nearly empty parking lot and ordered Curbside Service via the Panera app. There were 5 total items in our order: 2 soups in bread bowls, 1 bowl of soup, and 2 sandwiches. Fifteen minutes after the “delivery time” we received we were still parked in the designated Curbside Delivery space. My son went into the restaurant and our order was sitting at the front desk while the staff member texted on her phone. He got our order and we left the restaurant only to discover that both bread bowls were missing. We returned and after the waitress made a big show of emptying our bag to check our order, she gave us our missing bread bowls. Her demeanor and facial expression made it very clear that this was a huge ordeal. The food itself was okay, although the sandwiches were sloppily constructed. We will not be returning because of the extremely poor service and the unacceptable attitude of the staff. I believe that our bread bowls were deliberately omitted from our order with the expectation that we would not bother to return. There are just too many other good restaurants eager to earn our money during this pandemic to deal with that kind...
Read moreWent to Panera today. The hubby ordered a chicken bacon ranch sandwich. Went to pick up the food and there was no bacon on it. I took it back up to ask if they could put bacon on it and the 5 people behind the counter looked at me like I was stupid. They said the bacon was under the cheese. I took it back to my husband. He got halfway through the sandwich, no bacon. So he dipped it in his bacon mac n cheese. Whatever. Ordered a grilled cheese for my daughter to take home. It was burnt to a crisp. I called the store and the manager didn’t apologize but blamed it on his new and inexperienced staff. I don’t normally leave reviews…but this sandwich earns a top spot in what NOT to wrap up and send on its way. 😂 The poor girl at the front counter was super busy and I witnessed what appeared to be two managers in the front dining area chit chatting, completely unaware of how busy they were. Bad service is one thing….but bad service, bad food, and terrible management is another. Ok. That’s my bad review...
