We live in the area and have eaten here and at many of the owners' restaurants in the surrounding towns many times. However, I came here to share my review & experience I had with the party packages and staff that helped me along the way. Highly recommend having your party here - for baby showers, bridal showers, birthday parties! I recently had my husband's surprise 40th birthday party here, and it was so easy and went really smooth! Toni, the party coordinator (and our wonderful bartender), was so easy-going and great to work with!! Loved her! She communicated with me over the phone and email throughout the whole planning process. We had 2 servers that I want to give a special shout out to! Gia and Bella! They were so sweet, quick to help, and kind to our guests! I went in to inquire how much it would cost to rent an area of the restaurant to accommodate 40-45 people on a Friday night. The hostess immediately answered all of my basic questions and showed me the area that I would be renting. They converted a part of the restaurant into a larger room to accommodate bigger parties. (Great idea!!!) More spacious and inviting for bigger parties and for overflow when the restaurant is busier. I was surprised when she said the room rental was only $50 to hold the room/deposit. The apps, food, and drinks were customizable. Affordable, too! We chose the Tacor Bar option and individual bar tabs. Everything was delicious, and I was honored to meet the main chef responsible for it all! He was wonderful and the food was delicious and there was a lot of it too!! We also pre-ordered a full sheet pan of their carrot cake (my husband's favorite cake). I admit that I can get a little intense when planning a party to make sure everything is perfect and goes well - and the night of the party, I was calm and prepared - thanks to the staff at Craft'd!!! Wonderful job to all of you involved! Thank you!!! I couldn't have done it...
Read moreWe've been coming to Craft'd for probably two years or more and I think we've been resisting amending our original abiding love for it! But its time. Most of the great parts still remain, in that the food we order is mostly delicious (tater tots are always over cooked and oily) and the service is always kind and enthusiastic! We appreciate that from the young folks who work there. But we've noticed for a long time now that no matter when we come the floors are so sticky, we hear ourselves and everyone who's walking around with rubber soles. As well, this past time we finally asked for our table to be cleaned, with a clean towel because it was exceptionally sticky. It seems like in the warm weather its kind of warm and muggy inside and that seems to bring flies around the booth windows. We've discussed how often we see a very young-appearing boy working there in the presence of other quite young, though likely adult, team members. I don't think we've ever seen a seasoned adult leader on the floor (someone over 30?), but a LOT of standing around, scrolling phones, twirling dirty towels and leaning over the reception counter, by the younger team members. Now, to be sure, we still like Craft'd but it feels like quality and cleanliness is starting to lag. We're gonna lay off for a while a maybe try again towards fall and see if...
Read moreThe service was really good. There are some great beers on tap here as well. The food in my opinion is good and there appears to be several attractive choices, but I think it is fairly expensive for the type and quantity. There really isn't a clear decor or atmosphere here. The bar is like a rough cut concrete slab that looks like it had been stained or dyed. The floor appears to be concrete as well with the same type and closely colored stain. The decor is old, likely a left over from the recently departed former establishment. It looks a bit run down, and lacks any defined style. There were quite a few people in there the whole time I was there for lunch. I sat at the bar with a couple of friends and ordered the smoked chicken wings appetizer. This place has a great location, the building layout and outside appearance is pretty cool, the service, and the food is ample, it just needs a renovation to pull it all together. I think the concept is good and I really want to like this place but in my opinion, for me to frequently or repeatedly go there and spend the amounts of money they are charging for their food and beers, they need to bring it up a couple notches before I would be up for going back and feeling...
