Zhang's New China House — Restaurant in Bristol Township

I’m not one to EVER write a review! However my experience was awful. And I loved this restaurant. I ordered food the dieters special late I ate some and saved some for the next days lunch. As I ate it the next day I noticed my chicken looked funny and there was a dead maggot burrowed inside of it. Totally grossed me out. The restaurant was closed but I did leave a voicemail. With no call back I called again! They yelled at me and told me it’s not their problem because I didn’t finish the entire meal in 1 day mind you it was in my perfectly working refrigerator for about 12hrs. The rudeness was absolutely unacceptable. All I wanted was my money back. They didn’t want to take accountability and told me I should have called the same day at 2am like what?! I said I didn’t finish it all in 1 day I finished the next day and they were closed so I left a message! This was just disappointing and disturbing. I posted the picture of the maggot/worm in hopes they see it. They just kept yelling at me it’s not their problem and hung up. How is your dirty kitchen...

I don’t even know where to start with this place. First this isn’t my first time ordering from there and they have always been passable and mediocre at best. Last time I tried to order I never got any answers from their two lines. Let’s also add that the two lines they have are almost always busy so have fun trying to call back for so so Chinese. Today was the last straw after putting my large order in I was told 25 mins. An hour later I called back to see what was going on, I was asked what my address was (which at that point I knew they thought I was picking up my order) he instead replied “it’s on it’s way”. 30 mins later I called again to cancel my order. He asked me to hold a second once again and asked for my address. Now here is the best part he tells me that he never had any for my address!!!!! Ordered for the first time yesterday, and to be fair: They pre-warn you about how different the Bourbon Chicken is on the plexiglass and "no exchanges/refunds." I was curious because I ordered bourbon chicken from somewhere nearby and it was breaded (which is highly uncommon) so I thought it might be the same here. NOPE. It's bland white meat chicken instead of thigh meat drenched in sauce. It's literally the worse bourbon chicken I've ever ordered. If your food is so bad you have to warn people about it - You probably should consider removing it from the menu. At least I was warned.

The pork fried rice I also ordered was also pretty bland. I poured the extra sauce from the bourbon chicken on it to make it a bit more passable.

Very unimpressed, I will probably not bother trying anything else...
