My mother recently passed away, and I ordered jewlery urns for my family on etsy. they were beautiful, but did not have a chain for one and I need a link for the other charm. I went to Kay's and was referred to Caron's for help. I bought a 30' sterling chain and had 2 links soldered to ensure the saftey of the vessels. I was happy they could help on the spot, but buyer beware! The chain that cost $83 was plated not real silver and the weld jobs on both pieces were horrible! I have had mine redone already and bought another chain. My nephew's however the link broke and my mother's ashes are gone forever. My ability to get anything back from Caron's is non-exsistant. The so called sterling rubbed off the chain exposing copper or brass or some other cheap metal. My nephews loss is far greater than your flacid appology. My jewler here has sold me a much higher quality silver chain at a lower cost, that does not turn my neck black.
