I have NEVER written a review in my life. I had a very upsetting incident at the Panera Bread in Bristol. Now as many of you know there's a flu epidemic going around the United States. I was a very sick so I ordered online broccoli and cheddar soup with a bread bowl and a small mac and cheese which was not for me. My boyfriend goes to pick up the order since he's not sick and the woman says well we have no broccoli and cheddar soup will refund you the $6 for the inconvenience what other soup would you like. I figure wow that's really nice of her until my boyfriend comes home with no bread bowl and creamy tomato soup which I ordered instead since they're constantly out of broccoli and cheddar soup after 7. Now mind you I'm sick I don't feel good and I really don't want to deal with this s* in the first place. My boyfriend comes home with $6 in cash which I paid with my card so I would have preferred it to go back onto my card secondly the bread bowl was missing third of all the creamy tomato soup taste like a bowl of marinara sauce that you would get at a pizza place. I'm now pretty pissed off and I call unfortunately in a very rude manner asking for her to refund my total amount back to my card understandably if she could only refund $6 since you gave me $6 in cash it is now about a week later and I still have not gotten my refund and to be honest with you the staff has no idea what they're doing especially if you can get an order correct and also I'm extremely tired of Panera Bread being out of broccoli and cheddar soup after 7 it's obviously your Most Wanted Soup so why would you not...
Read moreThis location is horrible. Ordered a bowl of clam chowder and a grilled cheese to go. The soup container was only half filled which ultimately didn't matter because the soup itself was disgusting. The soup was bland and the potato chunks on it were so overcooked that they were complete mush. Can't comment on the clams because there weren't any. It tasted like this soup had been refrigerated each night and reheated each morning for the past week. The grilled cheese was even worse. The bread seemed to barely touch the grill as it was only "slightly" golden on one side (by slightly I mean you had to look at it under direct light to be able to tell). To further prove my point the cheese in the sandwich had never even warmed up, never mind actually bring melted. So I basically took home a half cup of tasteless porridge and a cheese sandwich. The real kicker is that all of this occured at 4 pm when there were only 3 customers in the restaurant, all of whom were already eating. So this food wasn't a result of the staff being overly busy or distracted. This is what happens when they have plenty of time to do it right. I love Panera but I will never visit this...
Read moreI understand that times are tough and businesses are hurting. There is one thing I find in a good and well run business, that is communication both between staff members and with customers. On several occasions I have had issues with rapid pick-up orders. I normally place orders several hours in advance. I have even learned to schedule the pick up about half an hour before I need it. However, no matter how many measures I put in place to ensure my order is ready, I still run into the same problem at this location. I stood their waiting for half an hour after my pick-up time, which I understand this is estimated depending on how busy they are. The issue I have is that nearly every time I speak with someone at the counter to make it known that I am waiting for my order, this is never relayed to those who are handling the order. So instead to ensuring I receive my order after waiting, I must track down my order. Again, this is after I have spoken to an employee, but communication is so poor that they allow customers to wait long periods of time and still have no idea where or to whom...
