3 HR WAIT TIME!
So let me explain this little problem I had with this little wing shop in Bristol CT (I have never had a problem before) so im a common customer I usually order wings from wings over when ever im in the mood for wings. but today 3/28/17 I ordered myself some wings and a large waffle fry which I love so much I put this order through at 6:22 pm. I was at my friends house and he disided to order some wings also. So we both ordered through out phones to the same address and I felt like it was going to be confusing so I called them to let them know and I quote "hello, I just wanted to let you know that my friend and I just put two different orders online and they are both going to the same house, so can you please make sure they are brought together" and the girl on the other end said "yes no problem" so that was that .. well so I thought. About 50 –55 minutes later the driver comes and I looked at him funny cuz he only had one bag and it was my buddy's food and i ask the driver "so where is the other back" and he replied saying "what ther bag" and gave kind of a funny look which I didn’t really blame the driver for this because the girl over the phone should of said something to him. So by now its almost been an hr so by the time the guy gets into his car and leaves to go get my food the hr is up so now im sitting there waiting. ANOTHER HOUR passes and by now its about 8:30pm and i think to myself "hm I guess ill call them again" and the lady on the phone I think it was the same one said "oh he left 20 minutes ago" so I just agreed and said okay. So another 30 MINUTES pass by so by now its about 9pm and i was getting angry. So the drive came to the house (different driver this time) he apologized and said it was busy and there where only two drivers and I thought to myself .. "well yeah my food should have been here a really long time ago" but i just said I was okay and moved on. SO on top of it being late .. sorry EXTREMELY LATE remember I ordered at 6:22 pm and got my food at 9pm (I have the phone logs to prove this) the food was COLD and for some reason everything inside the bag was wet. My frys where all soggy and cold everything was just a mess. I will never be ordering wings from this...
Read moreOrdered our food for a pick up time of 5:15. Ordered at 4:50. It wasn’t ready yet told a couple minutes, they said they had got slammed and that’s why it wasn’t ready. Waited 15 minutes while other people ordered their food and the lady up front told them 20 minutes. A gentleman came in with an order from 5:21 and got his order 5:40 while we waited even longer until 5:51. I explained that it was a poor excuse when people ordering after us get their food before we did and the lady said “we can’t control who gets their food first and when orders are completed.” Yes you can, that’s why they come in order by time lol. My husband and I have both worked food service, this was a joke, people making crap excuses for themselves instead of taking accountability for what actually might of happened to make an order almost an hour late. The excuse “at least it’s fresh” does not fix anything since we were there for the original pick up time when It should have been done anyways. Read moreI will never be returning to this wings over location. I have been to many others in the Connecticut area, all of which have much higher standards for customer service than the Bristol Wings Over. We made an order for take out and realized when we got home that they had forgotten an entire order of boneless wings. I called the manager and was unhappy that our food would have been cold by the time we went back to pick up the forgotten wings. I was offered store credit which I declined because it would be useless with me not wanting to return. He then offered $20 off the order and I asked for them to make the forgotten wings. The manager then scoffed at me over the phone and said something along the lines of " oh I thought your food would be cold." I had no choice but to go get the other food as we had guests coming over who wanted to eat. The manager at this location provides terrible customer service and the entire situation would have been made right if not for his attitude. I will be going elsewhere for wings...
