Can I give zero stars? Because I would.
First of all, overpriced. A pupu platter for one, a crab ragoon, and a chicken lo mein= $50.... what???
My wife and i bring it home. She takes one bite of the egg roll. Spits it out. I take a bite of the crab ragoon, spoiled cream inside. Her celery in the egg roll brown and over a week old. I bite the lo mein, zero salt, pepper, all grease and tastes a week old from the fridge.
I bring the food back. In 35 years ive NEVER returned food to a chinese place. Even average chinese food you just power through it. But this HAD to go back.
The owner, inspects the food. Claims its all fine.
I ask him to please eat something of the untouched food. He refuses. I ask again. He says he eats it all the time. I say, that's nice. Take a bite in front of me and swallow the food. He breaks the food in half, sniffs it, refuses to eat his own food. He finally nibbles the crab rangoon and says its ok.
I said you're going to look me in the eyes and pretend that food isnt in tupperware in a fridge just sitting, aging? The spring roll is brown and dry on the inside. The chicken wings had pink in them. The crab ragoon is spoiled cream. The lo mein is flavorless grease and tasted of aged vomit.
He says they have been open for 30 years, no problems. Well, maybe when you opened you cared about food quality. But overtime you change distributors to save 10% in cost... but then you lose 50% in flavor and quality of food. He didn't grasp that economic reality of owning a restaurant business.
An owner must be proud of his food. He refused over 4 times to eat his own food when presented to him and a customer begged him to so he could understand how old the food was.
Ive traveled the country and world all my life. This is without a doubt the worst chinese food ive ever had on the entire planet earth. Avoid...
Read moreNot good at all, service was equally bad, 0 stars. My fiance and I went their for the first time, we sat ourselves which was fine, didn't bother us however, when we ordered our food, the staff was very rude to us for no reason almost as if we didn't belong in their restaurant, not sure if it was due to being a biracial couple or maybe they had a bad day. We ordered food and the lady didn't want to serve us it seemed, hint please and thank you was not acceptable. Waited 30min for our meal, there were only about 5 other couples. When food came it was weird tasting, mainly the orange chicken, taste like marmalade, so we ate around it, didn't complain. We did ask nicely, if they could cook the noodles a little longer due to being hard very under cooked, the chef came to the table, we thought he was coming to say something like, sure no problem or my apologies. Instead he yeld at us both about the noodles and said no. We still smiled of course baffled, then the weirdest thing, he stood at the table waiting for us to eat, we just left. Never ever will refer anyone. I have never experienced anything like this in my life. They will be lucky to stay in business...
