I was excited to try the new Subway menu items when I heard they had revamped the menu. We had received some promotional coupons in the mail for the new menu.
So I figured it was a great time to use a coupon for "Three Footlongs for 17.99" that I had. The coupon only had 3 restrictions for sub options (the 3 most expensive sub options). That was fine, we were interested in trying some of the other signature subs anyway.
When I arrived I showed the staff the coupon, the manager walked over and took the coupon out of his workers hand. They asked me what subs I wanted, I started to list off the 3 signature menu subs that I wanted.
He immediately stopped me and said "No no no, not any signature subs, I will only do the create your own subs. I can not afford that". He then pointed to a small create your own sub menu that had very limited options (tuns, ham and cheese, steak and cheese, meatball, etc.)
I pointed out that there was nothing on the coupon that restricted the selections and it only named 3 subs that couldn't be used. He wouldn't budge.
I left and won't be back to this location. To be honest, Subway isn't fine dining. They are suppose to be affordable and quick subs. The only reason we decided to give it another shot was for the new menu items. I've read other bad reviews about the new management at this location. Clearly they don't care about honoring deals corporate subway have created, and they don't care about...
Read moreI, Jarrod C., went to Subway on Centre St in Brockton yesterday , Wednesday 1/27/2021. I ordered a large veggie sub with the works. I got home and started to eat my sub. i was about 4 bites left in the first half of my footlong when i bit down on something very hard. i immediately spit the food out and discovered it was a large piece of plastic i had bit down on. I immediately called the restaurant and the owner Ken told me to come back so he could "verify it was plastic". When i arrived at the store, i removed the piece of plastic out of the chewed food it was in. Ken at first denied that it was plastic or glass until i made him pick it up and feel it. Finally Ken agreed that it was infact plastic. Although i was refunded my money, Ken the owner/manager did nothing in the way of offering me any type of resolution. Read moreMy husband went to buy 3 subs at this location about 2 hours ago, for him and our boys. One of the staff was very rude to him and careless. First, the staff with, Asian appeareance, told my husband to not getting to close to him. How in the world can my husband can be getting close to him when there are a line of tables in front of the food stall and the plexiglas? And also my husband was wearing a mask. It was obvious that employee was being mean to my husband for no reason. The worst, my husband asked him to identify the ham and bacon sandwich with jalapenos. He did so but he put the ham and bacon sandwich WITH NO jalapenos in the bag paper he ID with jalapenos. The ham and bacon sandwich with no jalapeno was intended for our 5 year old.
