We will not be returning to Andolin's. In the past, we overlooked the poor service because the food quality was great. After our last visit, there isn't any reason to eat here unless you like paying premium prices for bad food and like having to remind staff what you ordered when it never shows up. We arrived for an early dinner at 4:45 pm on Saturday. I'll start with their pro's: we were seated right away, as we had called ahead. They did refund the gluten free pizza because it was obviously off. Here are just a couple of examples from our experience: Garlic Knots- baked bread with garlic, cheese and butter, should be delicious, but some of the bread was over cooked and tough and some was not cooked enough. The butter sauce had a stale, odd taste, not fresh. No one ate these after trying them. Combo pizza- crust wasn't cooked enough so it was soggy; toppings tasted cheap or old Gluten Free Pizza- They no longer have gluten free flour so no gluten free fried cheese. We tried the pizza. It was the worst gluten free pizza I had ever tried....and I have been gluten free for almost 10 years now. They served a pre-prepared crust that despite being round-shaped like a pizza crust, had the texture of sandwich bread. Domino's makes a much better crust than this. If Domino's can do it for half the price (this pizza was $25), then Andolini's should be able to do the same or better. Hideaway and Russo's also make a fantastic gluten free pizza. The manager did refund our money on this since it was visibly flawed.
Service- Wow no sense of urgency here at all. We ordered our drinks, a mix of wine, beer and soft drinks along with my 6 year old's pizza right away. The drinks arrived almost 20 minutes later. Again, not busy and no fancy cocktails ordered. We ordered the rest of our food, and as the food started to come out still no pizza for my six year old. When we asked about it, we were told we didn't place an order for it :/. The server did assure that the pizza would come out quick..... but, no as everyone was finishing their meals her pizza finally arrived. My mother never got the pasta she ordered, but we didn't say anything since we didn't have time to wait on it and it wasn't on the check.
We dine out frequently and have no problem paying for great food and service. We tip well and are understanding that things may not be perfect. Unfortunately, this place provided neither great food or great service, just premium prices. Word of Advice: There are plenty of great premium pizza places- go...
Read more5 stars! Amazing service, delicious food, and good variety to please everyone's palate. I had the Andolini's Combination pizza and it was the best "supreme" pizza I have ever had. Would definitely recommend. Updating to 5 stars based on the owner, Mike, who has gone to great lengths to right our bad experience and is passionate about everyone having a good experience in his restaurants. He has invited us back to eat again and I look forward to updating my review to include the food and service when we have. His customer service and care for his customers has been impressive to say the least. Hit the thumbs up button below if this was helpful 👍
We had heard such great things about this place. We were VERY disappointed. It was a busy night so we waited 45 minutes to get seated. That was fine and we had expected that. When we got seated we ordered two pizzas and two people ordered pasta. We waited 45 minutes to get our pizzas and then never saw our waitress again. The pepperoni was black around the edges and the crust was overdone. The pasta dishes were never brought out. Our waitress finally came 20 minutes later when we were almost done eating pizza and asked if we needed boxes. When I told her that we never got the pasta she made lots of excuses and said that the pasta got forgotten by the cooks in the kitchen all the time. We waited 20 more minutes for pasta and had to take it to go. My daughter said they put so much garlic on top of hers it was inedible. The music in the place was so loud we could hardly hear each other talk. The waitress made it sound like she was personally going to pay out of her pocket for the two pastas that she forgot to bring us. Whether she did or not I wasn't going to pay for them. I felt like she went on break or got distracted and forgot the pasta and let our drinks go empty. She also made a point to tell me that she was a single mom but she would find a way to pay for it out of her own pocket. I'm sure the restaurant doesn't make her do that. I felt like she was saying these things so her forgetfulness wouldn't affect the tip I left. We will...
Read moreDON'T WASTE YOUR TIME AND MONEY EATING HERE!! My first pizza experience at Andolini's was abysmal! Who else makes pizza without tomato paste/puree for $31!? NO ONE! These guys do. So, we ordered one pizza to eat there and a second one (Porchetta 14") to take home. The first pizza had the same defect of no tomato puree base and the second one was the same. Our waitress returned to our table to let me know that the "Porchetta 14" wasn't even available at this location, eventhough it's listed on the menu. We found this to be odd. She said it had NEVER been available at the Broken Arrow Main Street location. I asked why. She explained that not all of the ingredients were available at that location and that it was the lemon peel which was the factor dictating this pizza's unavailability. Again, very odd. I love porchetta meat done right so I asked if they could make the Porchetta without the lemon peel, she said yes, so then I ordered it with additional black olives and mushrooms. The to-go box arrives and I look inside and find a 16" crust without tomato puree base with cheese and a sparse amount of meat (a small piece every 5"-6"). 2 pieces had NO MEAT AT ALL and the remaining pizza slices contained nothing but a small nug of meat which made them into cheese-covered cardboard! I didn't want to make a scene at the resturant so, I didn't closely examine this pizza further until I got home... I heated up 2 pieces the next day so that I could lift the cheese and examine it closer. It was as I described above. Horrible!!!! NOT ONLY THAT WAS THE PROBLEM! LOOK AT OUR RECEIPT! THEY CHARGED US $18 FOR A PIZZA, THEN ADDED $13 OF MEAT AND GARLIC WHICH WAS NOT FOUND!!!! I'M EXTREMELY OUTRAGED THAT THIS RESTAURANT CHAIN EXTORTS THEY'RE CUSTOMER BASE IN THIS WAY!!!! I lived in Pisa, Italy for 16 years! What Andolini's serves is NOT real pizza, nor is it even close!! I want a refund and they can have the remaining 6 frozen pizza pieces...
