Pretty good. Reggie sun. We got there close to closing at 9:50 p.m. but they didn't rush us. We sat and ate our subs. We got the meal packs. That's the sandwich, chips, and medium drink. You choose your chips like Subway. Their meats are NATURAL meats, they try to get their veggies locally. I am thinking either Conroe Farms, or Bixby Farms. Either are great for veggies or any kind. The tomatoes were EXCELLENT, firm, not soggy, cut not paper thin, hearty full bodied tomatoes. The cucumbers weren't soggy either. They were weren't full of seeds and left laying in their own juice to deteriorate. VERY yummy, crisp, firm, and delicious. Onions white, yellow, or purple your choice are also very good. The place was very clean, the trash bins were not over full and smelling like some places I have been to(and refuse to go back to). If you walk past an interior trash bin and it smells, they are not emptying them properly and in a timely manner. Some places have very large and tall trash bins which are way too much for or too large for their inside customer base. To prove this theory I developed to my significant other we went to a local taco place we normally frequent through the drive through window. This time we went in at lunch at 11:00 a.m. That evening we went in at 3:30 for a snack. At 6:45 p.m. we went back inside I marked the inside trash bin with a white nail tech pen used to make natural looking white nail tip( took a photo of my partner pointing to the mark in the trash bag in the bin!). We went BACK a 3rd time that day at close to close. In the trashcan we ate our food, looked in the trashcan, from 3:30 until 10:45 p.m. the trashcan liner I took a photo of my significant other actually posed pointing to my hand drawn white line was still in THAT trashcan! Of course, the manager who was there at 3:30 was off and a new one was on duty. Which to us was okay, so I contacted corporate the next day explaining what I had done. They APPEARED to be appalled but that was to be expected. We went back two days later and did not see either of the prior managers. Also, expected. However, it seems nothing has changed as far as inside dining. The trashcans still smell, they have changed their type of cans at that location from the tall round cans to the shorter square styled cans which can be hosed out and now smell of pinesol. Slight improvement over the knock you socks off taco seasoning mixed with chili sauce. Jimmy John's smells of good food made right and the servers actually changed their gloves between making our order and the lady that came in after our order. Very highly commendable in my book no cross...
Read moreI used to absolutely love everything about this place.
Now, to be fair, the food is still excellent. The bread is fresh and tasty, the meats are fresh and flavorful, and the veggies are fresh and crisp.
Unfortunately, in most other respects the place has gone downhill over the last couple years.
The staff were decently friendly, but nothing above the minimum standard for a fast food place. No real enthusiasm, no direction or setting expectations after I ordered, no checking on me after receiving my food, and no attempt at any sort of conversation at any point in the interaction.
What they really lacked, though, was professionalism. Neither seemed to be in any sort of uniform. One of the girls was wearing a loose fitting hoodie that could easily have ended up in the food at some point. After receiving my food both girls disappeared into the back and I could hear some sort of audio playing from there. It sounded like TV or a movie. And though hoodie-girl came out when more people entered (I assume she was keeping watch on either the front door or the cash register from wherever she was), the second girl only came out when the first specifically asked her to.
But where this establishment is really suffering is the atmosphere. Jimmy John's used to always have pleasant music playing in the dining room, but the last couple times I've been here there hasn't been any music. It was only 6pm and the rugs had already been rolled up and left sitting on top of the trash receptacles. And, most egregious of all in my opinion, almost all the funny and/or inspiring signs that used to cover the walls are gone, and no effort has been made to cover up the adhesive (and damage to paint and/or walls where it used to be) that held them up. I'm not sure if they are just in the early stages of a remodel/rebrand, but it honestly looks really bad.
As long as the food continues to be good I'll keep going back, but I'm honestly pretty disappointed...
Read moreWe have had numerous issues with this location and their jacked up delivery system. We have lived in our house for 3 years. We live almost exactly one mile from the store. When we first moved into our house, they delivered to us with no problems. Then, about a year into living here, they decided we were "just outside of range" by 2 streets. We called periodically to see if they delivered to us again... sometimes the did with no issues. Sometimes they didn't. Then, a few weeks ago, I went through the drive through on my way home and asked a manager what their range for delivery was. He said "2 miles or 5 minutes." Great!! We are inside that range!! We started calling for delivery again. About twice a week, we feed our family of 5 through their delivery service. Now, we called today and were told they don't deliver to us. I asked for a manager and a guy named Stephen claimed to be the manager. Khe sounded like a teenager.) I explained the problem. He had no solution... He just said we were out of range and passed the phone to Joe who was supposedly another manager. Joe claimed that the numerous times we received a delivery from their location it was a "mistake" and never should have happened... even though the manager I spoke with in the store (I didn't get his name) said the range was 2 miles or 5 minutes. I'd really love to know what the REAL range is for this location as well as who the REAL manager is. I highly doubt such a small restaurant needs 2 managers on duty at any point. Seems like a bunch of bull to me. It really seems to me like they pick and choose who they want to deliver to based on how lazy they're feeling at the time of your call. NOT a good way to do business!! It's really a shame, because we love their sandwiches. It's always fresh and delicious and being a busy family with 3 very active kids, it's great to have great food delivered to our home when we don't feel like cooking or going out. Very...
