Well...this was our first visit to Mazzio's and it wasn't great. We had no idea how to order or anything really. The girl who waited on us seemed like she was in a hurry to get the transaction over with as quick as possible. My family ordered two pizzas which were reasonably priced and tasted, ok I guess, my husband and son liked them ok. I opted to add the salad bar as I wasn't in the mood for pizza but saw on the website they had a great salad bar. So I got my plate and went to the bar, it was pitful...dressings were completely empty, some veggies were as well. I didn't see any cheese (which isn't a huge deal but I was still disappointed) and the whole area looked like a tornado had hit it nothing looked fresh...it was just...not good. There were maybe a total of 6 or 7 customers in the restaurant so I don't quite understand how they let things go so bad. I even overheard another patron remark about the salad bar as she as well was just eating from there, so it wasn't just an unreasonable standard from only myself. Read moreHope you like burnt pizza! Two of our three pizzas were burnt to a black char. We went to this location rather than the closer one because it had better reviews. We waited 10 minutes past the time they said it would be ready. I guess we know where the ten minutes went! Whomever owns these franchises must be asleep at the wheel because all of the BA ones have poor reviews. A generic response with a link to fill out a website form is probably the worst way to handle this Mazzio’s. Do better.
Update: Contacted them as they said. Waited on hold for ten minutes and was eventually offered a credit. Asked why I would want a credit for more burnt pizza and they said that’s all they could do. Also, the credit is only good for 30 days. So now my review is one star instead of two. I would recommend completely avoiding this location. Read moreOrdered delivery. Came from Aspen and 145th. 1st deliver looked like the driver was playing crash car derby with my food on the way here. Handed it right back and said no. Called the call center back to get them to re-order my food and send a different driver. Rep said they would put it on a rush. Over an hour later still didn't have it. Called the call center to just cancel since my family has been waiting on dinner for over 2 hours now but they said store manager needed to approve that. Delivery guy showed up a second time while on the phone with call center. The store manager refused any kind of refund or discount unless we let them have their cold pizza and wings back from second delivery.
