Chipotle Mexican Grill — Restaurant in Brookfield

The service at this location is extremely poor. Today I went in to order and wasn’t greeted, which is no big deal to me. However, I had to wait for the two employees to finish gossiping to order. It almost seemed as if I was interrupting them for coming in to order? I was told I had to use the app to order a quesadilla, which was odd but I understood. After doing so, I asked for extra cheese as there wasn’t an option for this on the app. The employee told me she could put extra cheese in a cup on the side.. which wouldn’t make sense as quesadillas have cheese melted inside of them. But, I let it go and said okay. I also asked for the honey vinaigrette, and she stated “I think we gave the last one out.” I believe this is something they make in store, so if the “last one” was given out, I would assume the team would make more for the rest of the day, given it was early afternoon. I let it go, and sat down to wait for my order. I assumed they’d let me know when my order was complete, which didn’t happen, they just sat it on the shelves. Once again, let that go… and icing on top of the cake, no extra cheese in a cup 😂 this is not my first experience of poor service here. Love chipotle, but this location is terrible. Used to be...

I should’ve trusted the negative reviews. I love chipotle and visit about 1-2x a week takeout or pickup or delivery, and i order catering for my colleagues every once in awhile. I usually visit the downtown location near where i live, or Glendale. All usually great experiences.

I am NOT a huge meat eater so I never order extra meat and even give some of what I have in a little bowl to my dog. But today as I was ordering, the portion of beef I got was so SO tiny I asked for more and was told I’d have to get double (double is usually too much for me since I don’t eat much meat). I visit chipotle regularly and the normal meat portion is ALWAYS enough for me.

So today ended up paying almost $18 for my normal bowl to get double (thank goodness I didn’t get queso or guac and I got them both from qdoba across the street) but this really sucked.

I work near this location a few times a month but won’t be visiting again.

This location used to be my preferred Chipotle, but unfortunately, the quality of both service and food has noticeably declined in recent visits, particularly during the evening hours.

On my most recent trip, the employee preparing my order appeared visibly frustrated and disengaged, which came across in the way my food was handled. The portions placed in my bowl were much smaller than usual, to the point of feeling inconsistent with the standard Chipotle experience. In addition, the protein was overcooked, lacking both flavor and tenderness, which made the meal unpleasant and disappointing.

Chipotle has built its reputation on consistency, freshness, and customer satisfaction, which is why I’ve always enjoyed this brand. However, this specific location could benefit from additional coaching and oversight to ensure employees maintain both food quality and customer service standards.
