I have Crohn's Disease and am on a restricted diet for Crohn's, as well as a vegetarian diet. The only thing that I can order are the fries and Chick Fil A sauce. When I learned that the fries and sauces were an option for me, I was so happy because they are convenient and they do not aggravate my disease. I come to Chick-fil-A to treat myself after class at least once a week (for over a year now.) Being on a restricted diet is extremely difficult, I order the exact same thing every time. I have never had any issues until a manager named Corey started working there recently (not sure if he is new, or we just never crossed paths before.) A few months ago, he randomly and without me asking...approached the drive thru window after I had ordered and informed me that they do sale the Chick Fil A sauce in a bottle. I was not aware of that, but I eagerly asked to purchase a bottle. I received the bottle, in addition to the individual sauces I requested with my original order. I have since purchased multiple sauce bottles through the drive thru since then. I currently have 3 bottles in my refrigerator right now! Today however, when I pulled up to the drive thru and noticed that all of the sauces I requested, were not in the bag, I asked for 2 additional sauces. Corey approached my vehicle again, but this time said that he would not allow the staff to give me two additional sauces, stating, "They won't allow us to give out additional sauces for one item." I offered to purchase additional sauces, and he refused. I informed him that no one else has ever stated that to me at ANY of the locations that I go to. I also reminded him that HE is the only person (at his location or others), that has ever refused to give me additional sauces. He repeated that it's the policy now. I asked for proof of the policy and he said, "there isn't any." I asked for the corporate customer service number to call to get clarification and he said, "there isn't any." I asked him to confirm if he was the manager and that his stance was that there wasn't a number that he could give me. He confirmed and told me that his name was Corey. I find the blatant lies very disrespectful and uncalled for. He was very unprofessional and seems to have a vendetta out against me regarding extending extra sauces. I can literally drive to the next Chick Fil A location across town and will not have any problems. I can even go back to his location, when he isn't there, and not have any problems. This is absolutely absurd. I will mention, this is the 1st Black Male manager that I have encountered at any Chick-fil-A in my city. You never know what kinds of trauma someone brings to the workplace. His need for control is detrimental to the work flow. He clearly needs some additional customer service, leadership training. He does not exemplify the customer service standard that Chick-fil-A is known for. To lie over sauces, as a manager, is completely uncalled for. His influential, younger team members watched his behavior and our interaction. As a woman, and a loyal customer, this was embarrassing and very condescending. I would like someone from the district/regional leadership to contact me to discuss further. Please escalate.
As far as my fries, they seemed old and were cold. I could not even enjoy them. How fitting. I should've just returned them when I thought about it in the moment. Sigh. Additionally, I've noticed that the last couple of times I've ordered, the fry quality has declined. They are hard, taste different, and the container is filled with broken waffle pieces at the bottom, so much so that a few weeks ago, I did return them for a new batch of fries.
Also...for shenanigans...check out the review a few posts below mine. The reviewer posted that she ordered 4 sandwiches and received TWELVE sauces that she will be tossing in the garbage. I use all of mine and offered to pay for them...and couldn't get TWO...
Read moreI had a bad experience with a racist supervisor named Rachel on 124th & Capitol In Brookfield, WI and I usually like Chick Fil A. I ordered grilled chicken nuggets and received fried nuggets instead. I went back in and informed the supervisor, Rachel, of the mix up. She asked me “well, does it say it on your receipt?” I replied “yes, do you want me to go get it?” She said “no, it’s ok, it’s just that the grilled nuggets cost more, so just keep that in mind next time.” She basically called me a liar and made it seem as if I was trying to get out of paying extra for the grilled nuggets because I couldn’t afford them. Mind you, she said this during the lunch rush in front of dozens of customers who could hear every word she said. Not only that, but it doesn’t matter what the receipt said- I know what I ordered. I did not appreciate the comment nor did another customer who witnessed it. He told me “it’s like their trying to get out of correcting their mistake.” Chick Fil A is one of my favorite restaurants and its unfortunate that I ran into that witch. I felt disrespected and Rachel is very rude, ignorant, racist, and unprofessional. Rachel, leave your problems at home, stop being so ignorant, and get...
Read moreI, personally, am not a superfan of Chick-fil-A and their food. There are many other well-known fast food restaurants that produce tastier chicken products. This visit was made particularly frustrating by the attitude of the cashier. She just stood behind her register blankly staring at us, never greeting us or asking if we were ready to order. This was to be a to-go order and I went in because their drive-thru is even slower than the counter. The order was prepared fairly quickly... a shocker... and I headed out to the car. We'd all ordered the same thing, the chicken strips, and were going to share the fries. I noticed a problem at first bite. The chicken had a strange, spicy BBQ flavor... sort of reminded me of those awful BBQ potato chips at the grocery. I mentioned it and soon everyone was noticing. I don't recall this being an option on the menu and, regardless, I wouldn't have ordered it anyhow. I have had problems in the past with this happening and know, first hand, how difficult it is to get a C-f-A manager to admit their employee made a mistake... so we just dealt with it. Chick-fil-A is a place to go when you're in need of nourishment that won't kill you and aren't...
