Sweet Scoops is an absolute gem in Brookfield! This family-run ice cream shop is bursting with charm, quality, and flavor. They offer over 40 homemade, dye-free, preservative-free flavors—all made with real ingredients and lots of love.

On our visit, we tried: 🍫 Vegan Chocolate Chip Coconut – creamy and indulgent without the dairy. 🍒 Vanilla Black Cherry – refreshing with real cherry bits. 🔥 S’mores – tastes just like a roasted marshmallow with chocolate and graham. 🍯 Salted Caramel – buttery, rich, and perfectly sweet-salty. ☕ Espresso – bold, smooth, and a dream for coffee lovers.

We got ours in classic waffle cones, which were delicious and crisp. Next time, we’re definitely trying their bubble waffle cone—they looked so fun and Instagram-worthy!

The shop itself is spotless, cozy, and welcoming. The staff was incredibly friendly and offered samples to help us pick (because choosing just one flavor is impossible). They also have Italian ice, milkshakes, ice cream cakes, and crepes.

My wife and I have tried ice cream all of over Connecticut and Sweet Scoops is the BEST there is. To date we have tried over 120 flavors. There are no wrong choices on the menu. They are loaded with mix-ins and full of flavor. All their flavors taste EXACTLY like what they are i.e. Caramel Apple Pie tastes like you are eating a home made apple pie in ice cream form.

The service helps with describing all the options and let's you sample everything from the classics to their seasonal specials. You can have the ice cream served in cups, waffle cones, and even waffle bowls dipped in chocolate (highly recommended).

The scoops here have the perfect texture. Theyre rich, creamy, and just the right amount of softness. They have those ice cream ripples where you just know you're getting the perfect bite.
