Iam so confused. This establishment has excellent reviews.I tried calling 5 times for a order to pick up.No answer at all.So I figured they are real busy due to the reviews. So I went down there, they close at 6 pm on Saturdays.I got there at 5.15 and the door was locked. I saw someone moving around inside. But no one answered the door. The food truck was outside and a gentleman was going from there truck to the restaurant.I ask him are they open he said no because they had a event. I asked him why does it say they are open till 6 pm.He said because they had a event event.Well that's just not acceptable.I told him I would never come back. His response was good because we dont want you to come back and laughed in my face.I dont care how good the food is this is no way to to treat a customer. A simple sorry we where under staffed and we had other commitments would have made all the difference in the world. To just treat a paying customer like they ..dont matter because our food is so good is a insult. You have a lot to learn. And by the way there was six other customers standing outside wondering what was going on, including someone that knew the owners and she couldn't believe it. I will be letting the Connecticut best Mexican restaurant list know of your employee's response. So so sad in this day and age when so many businesses are competing for the...
Read moreIf you're looking for authentic, fresh, and absolutely delicious Mexican "street food," Taco Bachi is a must-visit. This family-owned and operated spot is a hidden gem that delivers big on flavor, quality, and heart.
From the moment you arrive, you feel the charm. You pull up, grab a menu slip by the front door, fill it out with your choices (good luck picking—everything is amazing), and bring it inside to pay. It's simple, efficient, and just adds to the unique, low-key vibe that makes this place so special.
The food? Next-level. The burritos are massive and packed with flavor. The tacos are some of the best I've had on the East Coast, and the quesadillas are perfectly crisp and cheesy. Everything tastes incredibly fresh and is clearly made with care—no shortcuts, just real ingredients, and serious attention to flavor.
Don't sleep on the daily specials. They’re always switching it up with creative takes on classic dishes—I've had everything from birria tacos to spicy shrimp burritos, and it’s always phenomenal.
The family that runs Taco Bachi truly goes above and beyond. They’re kind, hardworking, and clearly passionate about what they do. You can taste it in every bite and feel it in the service.
Portions are generous, prices are fair, and the whole experience is just spot on. Taco Bachi is the kind of place you'll keep coming back to. A...
Read moreI ordered a carne asada burrito tonight. Definitely not worth the 15$ I was charged. Some of the rice was hard throughout the burrito, also the sauce that they give you is in literally the smallest ramekins available. This is the second time I've tried the food here and the last . People come here because there's nothing remotely better, if chipotle was in town they'd be screwed.
Edit for the owner's response: why would I waste another minute at your establishment coming back there? Keep the $15. And it seems that you're the only one mad and crying here, I just gave an honest review. Maybe you should work on your ingredients and quality control instead of acting like a petulant child over reviews. And wrong again, I asked you once if y'all would ever make a queso and chips for a menu item and you responded with no. I'm not mad about it. Chipotle offers queso with their chips, so does Puerto Vallarta. I just go there for it. I can see you're really upset with my review by your pathetic attempts of attacking me, but it's ok. I understand you're probably just struggling with basic tasks like making rice correctly and you are just...
