Parents-Beware I planned my son’s 12th birthday party in which the representative Lorie that I worked with was exceptional. It led me to feel very confident in making the choice to go with a business new to the area. We booked a Laser tag party; my son was very excited about doing this with his friends. The staff was very nice to us but the laser tag party at this business is not for children.  In their rules there is NO running – what 12-year-old do you know that does not like running around for fun? All of the children that attended are athletes so they thought this was terrible.  Some of the children advised me that the attendant made them feel creepy. Although for laser tag we believe that he was walked around during the games trying to give violations when they did not follow the rules. These set of rules clearly were for people that 30+ (no running, laying on the floor, etc…) – not child friendly  They promised a large cupcake for the birthday child. My son did not have his large chocolate cupcake that we were promised. The manager Tyler clearly wasn’t prepared to handle this type of issue and the only thing that he said to me was that he apologized. I advised that we were paying for an experience and that this did not allow my son to have the experience that we expected.  We ordered an additional pizza please see the picture of how the pizza was served to us. The bottom was totally burned. The same manager apologized and refunded us. Somehow it seemed to be expected that we were supposed to be satisfied. However, we had children that was still hungry and we had no additional food to give to them because it was terribly burned. The sad part about this, is the food was precooked and put in a warmer. I felt that they did not think enough of us as a customer to inspect all our food to make sure it was prepared properly. Also no one informed us that the cupcake was not available ahead of time the hostess advised us after she brought them in. Which I thought the jumbo cupcake would have been a very special touch for my son and kids’ birthday parties. They brought him a single regular size cupcake instead of 2/3 (they did not have nor think of a plan to make this better for my son). Overall this is a nice facility but they are not set-up to accommodate kids under 15 for laser tag.

Not a perfect 5 star review but worthy of more than 4 stars. First, the atmosphere is very clean and welcoming. There is PLENTY of space for your group to find comfortable seating. The location has two Whirlyball courts (think 5v5 bumper cars with each driver having a scoop ball thrower/catcher and trying to score points by hitting a basketball backboard-sized sensor), bowling, laser tag, and ping pong (table tennis). Whirlyball is surprisingly fun and laser rage got rave reviews from my group. You can also rent bags, jenga, or connect four. The appetizers are decent for bar food. There is an ample beer selection and some appealing mixed drink specialties. Improvements could be made with front desk training. It took two team members almost 4 minutes to determine if a time slot was open for Whirlyball. I observed similar struggles with other questions. And, one checked in there was a lack of communication about what to do next. The bar was understaffed with single bartender responsible for drink orders, food orders and then bringing out the food when it was ready, which caused longer than desired waits. However, other team members were happy to help out and the manager was readily available to help out. Still, the games saved the day and I would recommend the location.

Booked a birthday party. I was going to wait until the kids completed all 3 events but we couldn't even make it through the first event without issues. The lanes are sh!t. They have sensors that lock the game if you cross the line or throw the ball too hard. The point of the game is to roll a weighted ball down the lane. Of course there's going to be pressure points on the lane. The pizza sucks. We had a party of 7 kids all boys and they did not finish 2 pizzas they said it was gross. The furniture & bathroom's are nasty. For as much money people spend at this place the company should be updating furniture and having someone dedicated to cleaning the bathrooms. We have a 3 o'clock event for whirly ball and can't start until the previous company ahead of us is complete. What's the point in booking a party if we can't even start the events on time. This place is overpriced, disgusting and filthy. I feel sorry for the employees. They are definitely set up for failure. Whoever's in charge needs to be fired. Save your money and go somewhere worth it.

I have never experienced anything like this before in my life and I'm not a spring chicken. (some may have to look up the meaning of that term) I never written a review good or bad but this one takes the cake.

We planned our holiday party here with 140 people. Our time slot was 12-1 lunch and left out longer or until gone. Games were to be played from 1-3 but the food was just beginning trickling in at around 1.

I have never seen this much disorganization and miss management all in one place at the same time, from lack of bartender (who was promised and paid for) who showed up 45 min late to the lack of and the delay of food served (45 min. to 1 hr late). For goodness sake it seemed like I make more food for my own parties at home. The Buffet Table was never completely full, not even at the beginning. I was flabbergasted. At one point the guest were standing in line at the buffet waiting for food and then left because the wait staff informed them they were done serving. There were more than half who had not eaten. They got to grab a nibble or two. We paid more than $45 per person (plate). This does not include the gaming or drinks. I don't know how the chef figures out portion size but it was totally off. People left hungry, some left to get their food at the food court. Some didn't eat at all. dinner was not supplied for 140 people. At around Two pm I was able to steal a small piece of pizza off the cart rolling over to the dinning room. This was my $45 meal, A PIECE OF PIZZA. We didn't even order pizza, this was what they served us after they ran out of the Flat Steak, Chicken and Salmon pasta and other food we ordered. The food was definitely not portioned correctly for a buffet of 140 people. This establishment (Whirlyball) might want to step up your game a whole bunch of notches. I can't even list all the disappointments we had to watch as the afternoon unfolded. Disbelief is a word that pops up in my head too.

This was a big disappointment to all attendees. Thanks for the Christmas Party......this is one for the books.

The Games were enjoyed by some of the guests but some didn't leave to play because they were still waiting for the food to be served. I cannot suggest this venue with a good conscious. I feel bad to give out the one star but they...

Updated Review 12/27/2019: Great fun! Jeff from Whirlyball reached out to me based on my review. I got the opportunity to explain to him in detail the experience my family had. He was very understanding and agreed that it should not have happened in the first place. He asked for a chance to make it up to us and invited us back at our convenience to try Whirlyball again. We did that today and it was a blast! It lived up to everything we had expected during our original visit and went off without a hitch. Extremely disappointed! My daughters are visiting from out of town and Whilrlyball is an activity we have been looking forward to during their visit. We showed up at 5 PM and the next available slot was 6 PM. We went ahead and paid for it and were assured that we would have the court to ourselves and were asked to come back 10 minutes before 6 PM to meet the referee. The place looked awesome and we were really excited and were looking forward to having a great time. We hung out at the mall for a little while and came back at the appointed time. The referee took us to the court and asked us to wait outside for our game. Suddenly couple of guys showed up and said that it is not possible that we had paid for a 6 PM reservation. I produced my receipt and after confirming its validity we were again assured that we would get the court at 6 PM and everything was good. Few minutes later one of the guys came back and said that we were being combined with another group and to take it or leave it. While this is not what we had paid for, we would have still been OK with joining the other group had it not been for the sheer rudeness of the individual. He made us feel like he was doing us a favor and there was no hint of an apology. We agreed that our money is better spent at a place that actually wants our business and asked for a refund. The individual who processed our refund was apologetic but seemed powerless to do anything beyond offering a slot later in the evening which did not work for us. What should have been a fun family evening was ruined for no...
