I visited the restaurant on Sunday afternoon. We sat in the far area to watch the NFL games. The waiter was at a table nearby, so knew we where there and yet 12 minutes later he never came over . I heard the table behind me tell another waiter they where sitting for 20 minutes which prompted me to go to host and have him remind the waiter we where sat . It took a total of 15 minutes before he arrived. Problem number one, he had AirPods in his ear . PSA yo corporate America AirPods are going to to be the death of your business!!! Why would you expect someone to be attentive to guest when they can rock out to their tunes or talk on the their phone hands free . In his case, he had to be listening to some meditation zen music. I have never ever seen a waiter so nonchalant. He was completely indifferent about his service. I realize Covid had a major effect on dining in , but this is ridiculous. Wait 15 minutes to be greeted and have water . Take the order and don’t return for another 30 minutes with the food which my steak was 100% cooked in the microwave. Forgot the sides so another 5-6 minutes which by then then I spoke to the manager because I had no intention of eating . Even with all the commotion he was indifferent. If I hadn’t seen his chest raise and fall , I would’ve asked them to check if he was breathing absolutely insane!!! I even had to hunt down the manager for the check . The only time he came promptly was to collect the money . I have never ever seen such poor service. I can except if they where busy and swapped, which they where not . It clear it’s his world and we as customers where just taking up his time . Even more irritating all that was said was a half hearted sorry and I will take your steak off the bill . No kidding I didn’t eat eat would’ve never let my dog eat that grey blob. Since Sunday I’ve tried to reach the general manager but to no avail. They couldn’t even carry the large trays properly , instead they chose to slide them on the tray stand as if they where pushing a walker . It would’ve been comical if it was so tragic. I did her from the GM who was very apologetic and sent me gift cards was very nice of him . I actually tried to order curbside pick up . Both times the person was very unprofessional and put me on hold for 15 minutes before hanging up the phone . After the second time, the thought entered my mind if the front of the house is that poorly organized, so I really want to risk eating something from...
Read moreI will say I have eaten here several times this was the worst experience. However after this visit we wont be back and ill be sure to tell everyone looking for a steak to avoid here. While reading this you may think I'm exaggerating however the sad part is I'm not. We came for my wife's birthday. It was a 4 person table and my wife ordered a cocktail. 45 minutes later she actually got the drink. Mind you we asked 3 times about it and 2 different people. The bar had about 6 people at it so it was not that busy. The bartender was very busy serving people that would sit with her and give her tips though so we had to wait. I ordered a outback style prime rib 16 oz medium rare. When it came to the table my meat was well done and my wife's was burnt/well done she also ordered medium. So I sent mine back and they said they would remake hers as well. We then waited 40 more minutes for my wife and I to get our steaks redone. At this point our table had collected a impressive amount of dishes. Imagine if you will a table of 4 that all has ordered multiple drinks, an appetizer, salads, bread and the main course. Not one dish had been taken off our table. It is a small table and we were ranging at around 25 dishes just sitting around. So my food did finally come and I asked to talk to the manager. He was a very young man who I will say is the most unprofessional manager I have ever dealt with. I asked why it took 40 minutes to cook a steak medium rare. To which he didn't answer then we asked why we never had a single person clear the table and we were having to stack dishes on the table to eat. Instead of saying he was sorry it took so long or anything he stared at us. Then when we finally asked him if he was going to respond. His response was they are busy. Mind you the place was about half full if that. Well we finally got the bill 2 hours later from when we came in we were just happy to leave. So if your looking for a decent steak dinner may I suggest Texas Roadhouse its at 15425 Rock Ridge rd, New Berlin, WI 53151. Same town not that far away and the manager might not be rude to you and say he's waiting for you to...
Read moreI normally don’t write reviews, but I feel like my negative experience needs to be shared.
We came to Outback for my boyfriend’s birthday. When we first got there, we communicated with staff that it was his birthday so they were aware. Fast forward to the end of the dinner, the server brought us the check and had forgot all about his birthday dessert. We then proceeded to remind her, and the dessert was brought out. However, there was no singing or anything else that the restaurant was supposed to have done for a birthday. The table directly next to us, however, was also celebrating a birthday and was sang to, etc. I later asked the waitress what happened, and she said “we are busy and don’t have time to sing”. If a restaurant chooses to celebrate guests’ birthdays, they need to provide the same service to everyone who has a birthday. Not pick and choose who they have time for. It was very disappointing.
Additionally, our service altogether was very slow. It took us about 15 minutes to get a glass of water (the restaurant was not even close to being full), and the waitress was not attentive to what we needed. She brought out bread but no plates. Then took another 10 minutes to bring us the plates. The restaurant was also out of the drink and food that the birthday boy came there to get, which I understand is out of the waitresses control, however she didn’t seem to care or offer any alternative options that she recommended. Overall it seemed like she didn’t put in much effort to ensure her guests had a positive experience (especially with it being...
