Overall, great food in a great location. This place is worth visiting to grab lunch, dinner, or a very late meal on weekends.
This place is a small market/convenience store that sells some groceries, but I enjoy it for its menu. They cook Indian food such as curry, vindaloo, and naan, and offer meat selections such as goat, lamb, beef and chicken. I prefer goat vindaloo with naan, but beef or chicken vindaloo is also good. They can make it mild to very spicy... on their scale of 1-10, I haven't been past 6. If you like spicy food and can tolerate spiciness well, I recommend starting at 5.
It is easily accessible on Buford Highway. There is plenty of parking during the day. At night on the weekends, the adjacent night club makes the parking lot a little crowded, but access is still easy. This place is open late on the weekends if you need to grab something at night.
The staff is very friendly. It's best to call in your order or make an order through their website. You can also order through Grubhub, but phone is quickest. They can complete your order in ~10 minutes, the service...
Read moreI ordered through Uber eats. The packaging was amazing. The speed was fantastic. Maybe too fast. They biryani was ok but very spicy. No problem there. Should have gotten the bone out chicken.
The naan was ok.
The butter chicken was terrible. It tasted like a bowl of hot frosting with chicken in it. I’ve never had a dinner dish that tasted like straight sugar or corn syrup before. I contacted Uber eats but there’s no send back or refund policy since it was delivered. I would at least like to share so maybe they can fix it. It was so sweet I couldn’t even enjoy the biryani because my taste buds were all off.
I wouldn’t order there again.
UPDATE::: My daughter ordered Uber eats from here not knowing I had already endured this mess before.
It is NOT BETTER. it’s the same. The butter chicken tastes like breakfast syrup poured over chicken and seasoned.
The naan has NO BUTTER whatsoever and large pieces of garlic baked in it to the point that all you taste is garlic.
This place is beyond terrible when you order Togo food. I’m lowering my star rating. I wish I could give...
Read moreTucked inside this grocery store is a little Bangladeshi gem! It’s super casual but seriously delicious, and the prices are so reasonable!
For drinks, my friend went for a mango lassi (classic and refreshing!), while I grabbed a soda from the grocery store. To start, we ordered the veggie pakoras and samosas, and they were perfectly seasoned and so flavorful!
For mains, we got aloo gobi, baingan bharta (a delicious eggplant curry), and saag paneer. The aloo gobi and saag paneer had the same curry base, which was just okay, but the baingan bharta? Absolutely amazing! Each curry came with rice, but we also added naan and a goat biryani to the mix both were so good! There were good amount of pieces of goat in the biryani!
Overall, it’s a super laid-back spot, but we were really impressed with the food. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area and craving something flavorful...
