AVOID THIS RESTAURANT AT ALL COST!!!!! I ordered gomen besiga which is collard greens and short ribs and I received ONLY ONE short rib. Mind you the meal was $14.99, which is average. I went to the website to make sure i did not make a mistake about what I ordered and I didn’t. I called to ask about the order and the lady that spoke to me over the phone said she would not acknowledge that the description and the meal that i got were not the same (oh she admitted that there was only one rib and said thats how it comes) even though the picture of the meal and title clearly shows several ribs and and says “ribs” with an “s” in the name of the meal which is what i based my decision on. She accused me of wanting free food, even though I purchased two meals and had no complaints about the other meal. She asked me “how could i expect more than one rib at that price?” But i buy short ribs all the time at similar prices so how am I supposed to know the difference when the menu and name of the dish indicate your getting a meal with ribsssss? This place is a joke she does not deserve our money. She didn’t even try to fix the issue. She just blamed me,hung up, and ignored my subsequent...

I like Katenga’s food, however I don’t like their service. I had a frustrating experience with them through Uber Eats and they never resolved my issue. I ordered one night and they were out of an item I ordered so they cancelled the order, after calling and speaking to me. Uber kept my money, even though it was cancelled due to the restaurant being out of an item. Uber said they kept my money because the restaurant marked that I requested the order to be cancelled.

I called the restaurant and spoke with a young lady who said she would call Uber and correct the issue. I was expecting a call back, but never heard back from her.

Tonight I attempted to get my money back from Uber again. No luck, they won’t budge. So I’m out $40 for food that was never cooked or received received.

I would have continued being a customer and supporter of Katenga because I really did enjoy their food, however this has turned me away from spending my money...

I eat Etheopian food every where I travel and this by far is one of the best places I've had Etheopian in a long, long time! Service was absolutely wonderful and attentive, very quaint and clean environment, and the food...AMAZING!!!!!! I ordered the veggie platter, which was amazing! I loved that it had beets and green beans, which not all restaurants put on their platters as a standard. Also, you MUST try the Kategna Injera appetizer!!! A pure delight to your palette!!! My 10 and 6 year olds were with us and they are as picky as they come. They fell in love and my 10 year old said "this has so much flavor, I'm in love" as his eyes rolled back in his head lol. We ate till we couldn't breathe! If you are wanting to try somewhere new or wanting to find a staple to your food rotation...you CANNOT GO WRONG here! It's amazing and I will eat here every time I...

I came to eat here after a workout and was nervous at first because it was empty. to my surprise the food was really good and am wondering why more people arent eating here. It was my first time eating Ethiopian food and they did not disappoint. The woman who took my order was super nice and explained a bit of the menu to me. The chicken tibs with cabbage was great. my partner had the veggie platter and they really enjoyed it. When you go, you have to order the sambusas. I definitely will be coming here again.

The people here are nice. I had the Veggie Platter with Teff Injera. Presentation is ok. Misir Wat/Red lentils had too much cinnamon. Cabbage & Carrots tasted freezer burnt, which obviously tells me some of these veggies are not fresh. Collard greens/Gomen was underwhelming. I was not impressed by this food, especially for the price. I will most likely not be back. The ethiopian food scene here is subpar.
