I have been a frequent customer of this Burger King location for years but I will never go there again after the way I was treated there today. Several months ago this Burger King started charging for giving you a cup to fill with ice and water, which most other similar fast food restaurants do not. So I started bringing my own cup in so as to avoid that charge and filling that cup. When I went there to eat today, the heavy-set black man (who looked like a manager and I assume he was) who took my order told me rudely that I would not be allowed to fill my own cup with water. I objected (of course) saying that I bring my own cup in to avoid being charged by Burger King for a cup. He continued to stridently tell me I couldn't use my own cup, claiming it was a health hazard and was not allowed. (which is ridiculous because I and only I drink from that cup and my running water and ice into that cup does not in any way affect anyone's health-I and other people fill cups we own all the time at Quiktrips and other gas/convenience stores, when we buy other products at those places) I started to move to the water dispenser anyway and this man even more rudely threatened me, at which point I was angry and demanded a refund on the order I had just placed, he even more rudely refused and threatened to "get someone to deal with this" at which point I was left with no choice but to leave and walk away from an order that I had just paid $6.82 for and go somewhere else just so I could eat in peace and not be charged for ice and water. I have never in my memory been treated as horribly as this man treated me when all I wanted to do was enjoy a good Burger King lunch. I had been to this place many times before and never had a problem with ice and water or anything else until today with this rude and angry man. I wasn't able to get his name but whoever he is, he should be fired immediately and never be allowed to work in customer service again, since he obviously does not like serving customers and does not want to treat a paying customer with respect, as he totally disrespected and harassed me. He forced me to have to walk away from a $6.82 order and I can never get that money back. I immediately searched for and found a different Burger King location to go to in the future when I want Burger King food, and I hope that my posting this will influence others to avoid this particular location also. I ordered through the mobile app and chose drive thru as my pick up option. Once in the drive thru, I mentioned my order number and was asked to pull up. The gentleman mentions that my order was not received and that I would have to come inside. This was upsetting because I received a mobile confirmation and was pressed for time for a 30min lunch. Once inside I came up to the counter and advised I had a mobile order only to be told "get in line" (I had to wait in another line (1st the drive thru) now inside). I asked for the manager once it was my turn and was told that mobile orders with the drive thru option does not come through (then why is it an option?). I asked for receipt and was told they keep it for mobile orders. I demanded my receipt a second time and it was given to me. My wasted time was not addressed, the food was lukewarm and nobody seemed to care. I decided to visit Burger King after not being for months on end due to not really being a fast food person but was craving a flame broiled hamburger. Pulled up to this location, of course the inside was not taking customers. I was fine with that seeing a lot of fast food places arenât these days. So, I drive around to the drive thru only to be told they are or taking drive thru orders and only taking mobile orders! WTH!!! I have never been to a restaurant that is open and they are only taking mobile orders. Needless to say I was pissed. I thought Iâd look on the app to see how long a mobile order would take and it was over an hour! Whomever owns this location must not be concerned with making a profit. How is it early evening and you allow your employees to not allow customers inside nor drive thru and only mobile orders. Then you would think since they are only taking mobile orders it would be a quick turn around time. You would think wrong as I did.
